I've got some bad news for you. But first, here's a 3 hour presentation on Guardians of the Galaxy
in the meantime also check out the very cool and unique classical gear that was never before seen in the game

It's not, there was a pvp boom after every rework. This is just a phase, once people get the rewards it will die. I give it about a month or two.

Go to HW zones, and look at the NPCs in those zones, then go to SB zones and the NPCs there. You can see a difference.

A PvP revamp is still new content and it came with a new game mode and maps and complete revamps with new skills to all the Jobs.
All your other arguments are basically '' it doesn't go as far as I want it to/ I personally didn't like it '', whether you personally like the EW story or not is irrelevant it doesn't change anything here.
The discussion isn't about your personal preference it has no bearing on whether it's new content or not.

Nothing you said about the graphical update either changes the fact that it is a new update incoming that is supposed to completely update the whole game.
Just because it doesn't go far enough and reworks the whole engine and replaces the skeletons doesn't change what I said.
It's more or less how people try to make these things sound like firsts, and major changes. When these are things that have happened in the past already. It's like people saying wow, 6.1 has so much content, they added a 24man raid, it may sound something big, but it's just part of the normal patch cycle. So the whole subject is are we going to see more content with the bigger success of FFXIV. No we are not, the developers are far to comfortable using the same routine they have been for 3 expansions with out takings any further risks. The reason they are not going to take any risks, cause people overly praise them for doing the same thing they did a couple months ago.

The number of bosses is untrue. HW had more dungeons by 3.3 than SHB did, which makes the number of bosses greater. Not sure where they got those numbers but they are false. You can refer to the actual patch archives to verify this, or just log into the game and see the content differences.
Also 1 new content type over 2 expansions isn't something I would consider a good track record. Which I am not even sure what that content type was?

You can barely even make a suggestion for something as little as more rewards or collectibles without receiving pushback from many in this community. It's why you see Yoshida supposedly "surprised" about the response to the hrothgar hair. We are supposed to accept and praise every single thing they put out. There's already more than enough content in the game already, why do they need to add more?!

Funny story that. I've been around since ARR open beta. I've been to all of those zones in HW and SB. Many times. Seen those npcs. Also many times. They're all different zones with different designs and themes, and that's the only difference there is. Well, that and they made Stormblood zones smaller and more restrictive with invisible walls in some areas. Kugane and Ruby Sea pushed the envelope a bit, sure, but even that wasn't anything too crazy. They dropped PS3 support, but they still had to deal with a terrible engine, so it wasn't really much of an overhaul. The PS4 was capable of more than the game was allowing. Probably still is, even with the existence of the PS4 Pro and PS5.

While I cannot give a specific date on when personal housing will be implemented, I can say that prices will be completely separate from free company housing, and, naturally, far more affordable.

Exactly. Why do they need to add stuff like Adventurer Cards, which are currently "Beta" by the way? Why the continued emphasis on Triple Triad and Lord of Verminion? Umbrellas? Mahjong? The Fellowship system? Blue Mage? Regurgitated Diadem?

Most of those on their own barely qualify as content to begin with, they're more like glorified side-systems. I get that they're convenient and I get that people use them and enjoy them. Good on those people. You know what else people enjoy? Hairstyles. Character customization. Wearing gear. Yet those things are locked out of Hrothgar and Viera, and fans of both races have come out for 3 years to ask them for that sort of content. For them to hold their horses and fix things. Nary a word, they only heard the people spamming "Male Viera" on their streams. So, naturally, when they unveil the new Hrothgar hairstyles, people gave them an appropriate response after waiting for so long on the matter. So why was that so surprising for him?

It's great that people enjoy what they're given, but a lot of stuff is left incomplete in this game. It should be fine to tell the devs to take a break and improve on what they already have. No need to constantly expect new stuff, because that new stuff will only add to the incomplete pile. Even PvP right now needs attention like tweaks and balance, and it just got reworked. People need to calm down and stop mocking people for wanting that wave of new content to be put on hold. Because we already have A LOT in the game as it is. And SE's own policy which people glorify is that "If you want to take a break and play something else, do so, come back when you feel like it". So if you think you're burned out and have nothing new, then wait for them to fix what they did implement and come back when there's a better stream of content.
