Will increased success bring more content to FF14

As the game makes more money is there any chance the quality of content will improve as more resources could theoretically be put into the game?

The game has gown greatly. Revenue will have increased. This would allow more employees to be hired. Of course there is the hope that the current employees would also see raises and rewards for creating a product that has attracted so many customers.

And this growth is all very recent and the changes/improvements will not happen overnight. But at what point should we expect to see more?

I hate to think that all that extra money could go towards non FF14 projects.

Optimistic to think any company would use more money as a reason to give you more when they can just give you the same and keep all the money.

We can hope for that, but we're talking about a large corporation here. Large corporations really like to pocket the money.

Technically, no, increased success has shown that it does not necessarily bring more content to FFXIV. We have people arguing that less and less content is being released with every patch, and that the quality of releases has been going down. TBH, I think the money being made here is more likely to be funneled into FF7R, FF9R, Kingdom Hearts 4, and I guess FFXVI, among other projects, than it is to be funneled directly back into the game just because the company has other interests besides FFXIV.

Babylon's Fall
Chocobo Racing
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
Remake of previous FF games (VII remake / VIII remaster)..

Current income probably going to Final Fantasy XVI.
Unless they notice some loss on their player base (and income) they will not invest money in new content IMO.

We will get usual stuff like every expansion.

No. If this game's history is anything to go by, we'll actually get less.

Already able to clear an entire patch's content in mere hours. By next expansion, patches will probably just be singular toys like selfie cams.

FFXIV is following in WoW's footsteps. WoW raked in more and more money, and began delivering less and less content. You go from expansions that have 10 zones and tons of questing content and several meaty and polished patches coming out every 3 months, to expansions with 4 zones and embarrassingly buggy, content-light patches that come out once every 9 months.
