As of now your chances of actually winning a plot are EVEN lower and will further shrink as time goes on. After the Empyreum lottery is resolved we'll have further less plots to choose from in game scattered among the other residential districts and with each progressive lottery period the number will shrink further while the losers hop from lottery to lottery hoping to win but also having an ever-shrinking percent chance to actually win as the competition for each lottery progressively condenses. Eventually we'll have hundreds of players bidding on a single plot and each individual will have less than a 1% chance at winning said plot and at that point you'd have had a better chance at outclicking the old bot players.

Not to mention the first EIGHTEEN wards are now restricted to FC-only. There aren't even that many FCs on most servers that meet the newly added player activity requirement to even PURCHASE a house. Increase the personal ward spaces.

The problem was never "damn I don't have an equal chance at winning" it was always "why do I even have to compete this hard." The solution is to simply add more housing or add instanced housing. Square Enix is not some small indie company and it's about time Square Enix stop pretending that the multi-billion dollar global conglomerate can't afford dedicated servers for instanced housing/additional wards.
There, I fixed that for you. WE have never pretended, just want that to be clear.
