If people would actually read what was posted they would know what is taking so long. They have fixed the error itself, now they have to build out and test a system to clean up the mess. In case everyone has forgotten all those people who were hit with the 0 bug were winners of their plot and many of which took their gil. They now need to create a distribution system that goes back, verifies that information, correctly identifies the winner, takes the gil for purchase, and awards them with the plot. This is even more of a task when you consider FCs who entered with multiple bids on the same plot, or even multiple bids on multiple plots. That means they have to verify which one the FC is taking and appropriately take the gil for that plot while also taking the penalty gil for a single FC bidding on multiple plots and winning.

With this timetable it is now 100% guaranteed that a horde of RMT shell FCs will be mature in time for round 2 of lottery. 18 wards worth of small houses will now be handed to shell FCs with virtually no competition. That's more than the entirety of housing available from personal wards. They're hard at work fixing a lottery that was never going to fix the broken housing system. In fact, because of the delay caused by the lottery's failure and repair, the housing system is going to be even more broken.

The other thing I'd really like to see at this point. Roll the correct lottery winners, so those plots can be claimed. If the new lottery can not occur yet due to needing to test and replicate, I get it. But roll out the correct winners and keep the lottery on hold until it is fixed. I dont see what the two must be mutually inclusive.

Wouldn't have to go back and do this had it been properly tested prior to deployment ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Again, that is what they are doing. They are building and testing a system to do just that. The bug has already been fixed and the fix verified.

I kept seeing screenshot of the whole ward owned by the same name..can someone explain to me how that is possible please? I thought each person or FC can only have 1 house for private or FC purpose....do they just keep setting FC up ? but wouldn't that take a lot of Gil and also they need to get their FC to rank 6....so I don't get how they can get a whole ward.....

FC tags are not unique. What you're seeing is 30 different FC's with the same tag. Kinda blatant and kinda stupid tbh. That's just asking to be put under a microscope.

They are all separate FC's on Separate Accounts. Somebody is paying for all of those on the side and buying numerous houses. Which isn't against ToS since they pay for each separate account and falls within the guidelines New lotto system is flawless btw.

On the Rank 6 thing. It doesn't take any time at all to rank an FC up to 6. Throw a bunch of crafted items at them for turn in and you basically get that overnight

Again, that is what they are doing. They are building and testing a system to do just that. The bug has already been fixed and the fix verified.

It doesn't change that now there will be members who are potentially either "unsubbed", "left the FC" or other conditions they are likely not testing for. A week ago they were in progress of building a sim environment. Now SE has yet to even start building the sim environment. They finished on the 25th verifying the fixes, yet they haven't started testing them. How is a fix verified if it isn't tested? As of the 22nd they were "working to replicate the actual environment", yet a week later they have not yet been able to do this, and seems they need an additional 8 days to build that.... that should have been built by now.

Don't say something is going to take "several business days" if it is going to take "several business weeks" and then continually sit on updates. You dont let you consumer believe that things will be address in a week or two, and then go on a push it out til a month. That is poor business practice. and terrible communication.
