My favorites are between The TG Cid theme (I think it's a song from Vagrant Story) and Byakko theme.

It is! It's the final boss theme IIRC. I remember when I first ran TG Cid and I thought "I know this..." but I hadn't played Vagrant Story in a long time so I had to track down exactly why it was familiar. But Matsuno also did Vagrant Story so it was a nice little easter egg.

Welcome! We've had them before but it just seemed a good time for something fun. Even if we have issues with this gameplay bit or that story bit or bugs are making us go insane, there's probably a song in this game for everyone that they'll sit and listen to on repeat.

I never played ff8 but my best friend loved ff8, so I keep it close to my heart

I love this one as well. My favorite from VIII is The Man with the Machine Gun. I am not a huge Squall fan. I much prefer Laguna and I wish we could have played as him instead.

I don't think we heard that anywhere in Eden and that made me sad.

13 had a lot of orchestra arrangements I feel, relative to 13-2's electronics and fusions. The aggressive mixes were godlike!
