Proper healing and mitigation should be rewarded with DPS.
Each should haver their own mechanic to work with (lilis, cards, aetherflow/fey gauge, addersgall/sting)
Use upgrade and the charge, make GCD valuable.
Make true, yet easy dps rotation that enhanced healing.
Make healers easy to understand and accessible at first yet interesting to optimize and play (to please both casual and veteran player)
Not an easy task but if they'd be willing to try to change it...
But this will never ever happen sadly.

I miss my old SCH rotations. The dissipation opener sucks so much.
Puh-leeeeeeeease... this is is the one change that made me hate current SCH's guts. It really doesn't feel as fun as back when I could poison spread.
Having said that, I'd kill for a slightly more complex rotation. I don't need a super complex big brain rotation, but some sort of 1-2-3 that you can pause if you need to heal. I mean, they already made a bunch of skills to not break combos, so I don't see how this would be any different.
Bonus points if completing a 1-2-3 a few times gave you some resource to use in a big boom spell. Like, imagine if SGE's Pneuma was a big finisher (with proper tuning of course). I think it could be pretty cool.
I must clarify this, though. I'm fairly sure Yoshida-san already said he doesn't want to give more damage to healers, but in truth what we're asking for isn't really more damage but something more akin to spreading the same damage throughout a longer rotation to keep roughly the same DPS. It's really more about the feel of the class than raw numbers.
Getting Nocturnal Sect back would be nice.
I know not a lot of people enjoyed it, but I really did. It was a lot of fun, and that made me enjoy shield gameplay a lot more.
Yeah, Sage is there, but it's not even remotely the same feel imo.
And if the issue was balance, it would be the perfect time to get a dedicated healer designer. That way, if you think that it needs to be, it can be.
If one more person tells me to 'Play a DPS' when I ask for Healer rotations to be made even MODERATELY more engaging, I'm gonna have my Joker moment.
We have a plethora of healing spells (some of them painfully outdated like Cure and Medica) to heal a pitiful amount of damage and this is apparently completely fine. We talk about adding more DPS options (something that represents the vast majority of a healer gameplay) and this would be button bloat?If there is not much to heal in ultimate, why we do not see a lot of groups there without healer and just use self heal or heal pots? For me in the normal dungeons there is enough to heal and the small dmg i do as a healer is good enough with the 3 dmg spells, no button bloat needed here.
And yes if i like to do more dmg then i play dps.
It might also help if tanks weren't so overpowered that you barely NEED a healer. Or don't need one at all for a half-decent warrior.
