That's not a bad idea to have that sort of minimalistic CC map on the Frontline battlefields. You can probably display enemies more accurately there as well since the enemies on map and minimap takes, like, a solid 5 seconds to show up even if you're straight up attacking them head on. The Icons would need to be entirely reworked though, I can't see the CC's class Icons in a 24-man party, especially not if you're also gonna show enemies.

But then again I think Frontlines need an adjustment to party control in the sense that I can't just have abilities fail because my target is from another Alliance. You know how bad it is for a Black Mage to try and Aetherial Manipulation to an ally to escape only to get frozen in place by his own ability because the target isn't a party member and therefore doesn't count for Aetherial? Or how a scholar can get a Recitation shield on someone off-party but cannot DEPLOY it because it isn't a party member so he ends up deploying himself and wiffing a charge? Or how about as a Sage I need to let allies die unlessn they are in a party, because I can't Kardia them otherwise. Or how about a Bard surrounded by 10 guys but finding out that using his LB is a bad Idea because only 1 of those is actually on his party so your Final Fantasia needs to be used for speed boost... So many issues...
