When will the housing bug be fixed?

I'm assuming that they will be doing the fix when they add patch 6.11... you know to mess things up even more... But seriously, I do not understand why they are saying they will be implementing patch 6.11 on the 25th of April when they don't even have patch 6.1 fully functioning. So my guess and it is only a guess is that the maintenance will fix the issue. This would be really nice since by then it will be well over a week that my FC should have been moved into their new home.

1. fc's are a easy way to sell plots to other players because simply invite the new owner to the fc get your money leave job done this system i assume still works .. so rmt and dark web sale can still occur
2. the lotto system is already easy to exploit as the other day some one asked if they could buy my lvl 8 fc for 100 million gil i said no but then upon thinking about it later on why i figured what stops 10 20 different fc alts owning fc's to increase the chances of a specific lot ..
in fact i read some one on youtube make the comment they had 7 bids on 1 lot lost but the 8th person bid on the wrong sub and they got their house ..
name change the fc job done in fact it could be used to make gil from flipping fc lots to fc's screaming for them even with this lotto system !!!

Not sure who told you that, but with the new system you cannot bid with alts on your account for multiple homes if you already own one. And if you place a bid as a FC, then you can't bid on a private one. They supposedly stopped the multi-lot owners a few patches ago. And you can't flip a home that easily anymore since you have to be a member of a FC for 30 days before you can become lead. That was implemented in patch 6.1. Sure prior to that they were selling FC's like candy for hundreds of millions of gil but now that simply won't be possible unless you're willing to hold onto a home for more than 30 days. Not really worth it if you ask me.

SE screwed up on the totals though. We have nearly empty wards for FC only, and now with all those moving from other areas to the new zone, it has caused housing to open up by the ton, but its mostly slotted for FC's even though many of those were owned by private individuals. So at least on Mateus, they didn't fix anything they just made entire wards with just 5 or 6 houses, while the personal housing is still so limited that people had over 100 bids for one single house.

Says in the update in regards to housing " To ensure the lottery system is fully stable, however, the related fixes and data restoration will not be included in Patch 6.11, but will instead be implemented in a separate maintenance at a later date"

Im not sure by "later date" they mean a date after 6.11 , or if they mean at a later date than today.

They have identified the issues, but are still in the process of making certain nothing like that can happen again when they eventually roll out a fix. And said bugfix was never scheduled to be part of patch 6.11, since they obviously didn't anticipate the bug when releasing 6.10, so the only way it would have happened in 6.11 was if the fix was incidentially finished in time for the release of that patch. They are letting us know this won't happen, so people won't be upset when the issue still persists come next Tuesday.

And obviously, since 6.11 is an Ultimate release, they can not delay the patch itself just to wait for the housing bugfix, as people are taking time off work for the world first race. They already got enough flak for delaying 6.0's release at short notice and most likely want to avoid repeating that.

yeah theyll basically fix nothing . at this point lets prepare to be dissapointed and wait another 6-7 years for a housing solution if that happens.

i get bugs happen but with housing already in a state this has made it worse

sadly housing has been a mess since its release the lotto system has good intentions but ultimately still a really flawed system regardless
back in the day i owned 8 houses all with fc's ( to be clear it was never to flip them or make money i just enjoyed decorating them and selling them after a few months to buy another lot to do the same )

Now you need to be able 30 days old in that FC to inherit it or buy it from another player.

These are the same people who didn't know there was ishgard housing dispite an entire event for it.
