So.. you want it to go to the cash shop?I know even gachas that make reruns with better incentives for veterans that already did the event. This is boring...
To say nothing of this being a common event and many other events that only got a one-time go around and had their rewards offloaded into the wonderful cash shop.
Delightful.
Are we all just going to complain no matter what happens? Gets cash-shopped: "Oh they charge for everything!" , Doesn't get cash-shopped: "Other events that were better got put in the cash shop! We want those instead!"
I think it does mean that the older players can relax and ignore the rehash event that probably took nothing away from development time at all. 6.1 was a lot of stuff.. I got lots to do for a while.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?

The issue with the cash shop is that the events don't go to the cash shop. The rewards are.
The events are lost, which is a great pity.

like it nice and all but why cant we get new events? why we get te same thing time after time and they don't even give half a fuck to add something new to the glams of the event. this just screams LAZY. even free to play games do more when they re run events. why we as a community are ok to get less that a f2p game?

I don't think old events necessarily need new things added to them every time. Just like every other piece of content, it comes with certain rewards and you do the quests once and that's that. The only difference is that these have limited access.
That said, the issue with this event in particular is that it has exclusive character model pieces utilised for it (as I said before, Iroha's hair and spear) that are not made available to players.
Perhaps the game could take a leaf from the FFXV event's book and make those two items available at the Gold Saucer during the event, similar to Noctis's hair and mount?
Making the gear dyeable should just be a matter of them editing the gear model, not needing new items, although if they insist on making something new they could add upgrade tokens to the FATEs.

are we playing the same game? when did old event got new things added to them? collabs that is . why it need it? so not only new players get something but the older ones that made this game in to what it is. why the older players that made so new players even have a game to play get shafted to the side all the time? like hell make the gear dyeable is a 5 min work. why we cant even have this? why the community all the time let SE be more lazy that a f2p game?I don't think old events necessarily need new things added to them every time. Just like every other piece of content, it comes with certain rewards and you do the quests once and that's that. The only difference is that these have limited access.

omg are you that simple? ADD NEW ONES TO AND HAVE THE OLD ONES AS WELL. mind blown is it?If they changed the rewards people will complain that they don't have access to the stuff people got from previous iterations of it, just like they do with all other events. At least this time the people who've done it in the past can skip it and those who haven't can have their piece of cake.
so lets screw the older players that made it so you even have a game to be new in? how about not screw no one? have the old item and add new. as it stands now SE just being supper lazy. we getting less that f2p game get.

That's the opposite of what I said. Please read my post again, particularly in combination with the previous posts saying there should be new rewards just because they already have the old ones.
There's room to add new items to this event without altering the event itself, because there are resources created for the event but not used as prizes yet, but I don't think repeat events inherently need new rewards added every time they're repeated.
Give us all the things that were made for the event (ie. character's whole appearance, not just outfit) but that's the end of it. No need to invent further new rewards after that.

ye this is correct. sorry if i got you wrong the first time. That's the opposite of what I said. Please read my post again, particularly in combination with the previous posts saying there should be new rewards just because they already have the old ones.
