Why Garo gear still genderlocked?

I love how they remove some crafted glamour to not genderlocked, but why Garo gear still remain genderlocked?

I want to use that butterfly hairpin man...

It’s another example of outdated design restrictions; I really wish both models of clothing were available for all players regardless of gender.

I also wondered about that. I guess it is because, it's not 'a lock' in first place. It is that there is no adjusted version for the other gender.
Maybe they had not enough time to do that. Or maybe the collaboration partner does not allow it? Idk.
But to be honest, I really want to be able to wear that butterfly headpiece. And as often..., the female sets look better (in my eyes).

Maybe they are going to adjust them later? I will collect some pieces and hope I can wear them someday. :3

The more player options for customization, the better, I say. Some of the women-only clothing options look really cute and I’d love to wear them!

It's been like 2017 and it's sucks that those are still genderlocked

I'd prefer to wear quite a few of the male outfits on my main. They just look better to me compared to some of their female counterparts.

I'd rather their focus be on content. Not fitting clothes to new models just to sate folks who have an issue.

Many more people have complained about content on xiv so to me that's far more important rn than unisex clothing. That's why not both.
