I'll do you one better, look at NIN's kit- Absurdly high potencies at no cooldown
- 3 charges of Dash with 4k Potency (same as a ninja's empowered mudra)
- Reduces damage taken by 50% and delivers an attack with a potency of 2,000 every time you suffer damage.
- Kuzushi Effect: Increases damage you deal target by 25%
- Deals damage to target equal to 10% of their current HP.
Ignores the effects of Guard when dealing damage.
Deals damage with a potency of 4,000
- A Stun Duration: 3s
- Immune to crowd control Duration: 3s
- A Bind Duration: 2s
- Absorbs 100% of damage dealt as HP
- 2x 8,000 potency Shields Duration: 10s
- 1 Shot LB that's easy to pull off at any given rank due to the chaos of the mode.

You want to talk about keeping a positive community and still letting people express themselves to a degree BUT then you release an oppressive and toxic job like this.
This blatant favouritism needs to be curbed. This is absurd.
It's not fun to play against them, whether you're winning or losing. I am not saying this because I am stuck. I am climbing at a healthy pace.
I am pointing out that what you've created is taking the micky and its not respecting other jobs equally.
SAM and WHM receive too much attention. That needs to change, and toxic jobs like this need to be thought over.

Then lets cry about an ult that insta kills you at 50% health.
I hope that I have made it easy for you to understand that SAMs is not the only one with a wonderful kit and by no means I feel that these two classes need to be nerfed. The only class that are disrespected are GNBs.

The only changes needed to Samurai are:
1. Distinct audio cue for Chiten.
2. Kuzushi only applies when the Samurai is the target of a direct attack.
That's it.
Outside of the potential to one-shot half the team in close combat over a contested objective because the screen is too cluttered to see the Chiten animation, Samurai is fine.

Does it matter which I want to pick? Either the class with high survivability or the class with crazy high offensive capability, in the end always comes down to how people use the tool and deal with others. SAMs have 0 oppressiveness once they don't have Ogi and Midare.
Should a class be valued by how well they can duel 1 v 1? Because I can tell you if that is the case then MNKs should be at the top.
Note that SAMs are an 'all-in' class and has a kit that fits their role, a melee DPS that has to go up to someone's face to contribute. They need the defensives, they need the CC immunity, they are the shining example of what a class that needs to go up to people to deal damage needs to have (Aside from the LB).
If you think melee DPSs should be like a pin-cushion for CCs much like MNKs, then the one who is spoiled is you.

Samurai is fine. I'd argue they're outclassed by dragoon. Dragoon is safer with just as much damage potential. But it comes down to how you play the job and how you interact with the other 9 players. I only want the other mdps to be buffed to their level.

Its a team game from the very start and it has been balanced around that. You don't deal with one CC, you deal with multiple always because thats what a smart team does.
Slander me all you want, its clear to me now you only draw conclusions from whats on surface and never bother empathize or even think. Just a monkey who wants to ape on about a class having more letters than another.
To help you answer your 5 second detective work with some fun facts, I have my main class set as SAM back in Stormblood. I climbed my way from Gold to Crystal using BRD. Now I play mainly MNK since I enjoy the class and revere SAM's kit as I want more defensives on this underrated class.
Preach about wanting the best for PVP but barely want any discussion. Wants balance do it in a way that will drag down a group of people who enjoys the class or identity of a class. If you want the health and state of PVP to be better then instead of dragging classes down, start thinking about bringing the other classes up.
