I have the same problem here, I don't know why. But thank you for agreeing to put the signature asking for the hats. The more people screaming on the forums, the more chance we have for SE to notice us.

My husband just gifted one Fantasia to me along with the Easter egg mount on sale (because he sees my struggle and the fact that I'm lokking at every very cool Vieras in game), but this time I’ll take the time to weight the possible switch (or at least I’ll try, but when the fantasia is on my mailbox, it’s very hard to resist lol).

Starting a new job in may only, I have to be careful with my money for now.

Yes, It's been a very good time killer. I can't help myself when it comes to outfits, glamours, cosmetics so when I see all the stuff that might come here in the west, I really can't NOT deposit money into my account. So I can buy EVERYTHING I want when it eventually (hopefully) comes out. I used to play a lot of F2P Korean games as a kid, so I am no stranger to spending money on microtransactions...

Oh, I have never been able to hold onto fantasias for very long. If I had a fantasia I would switch immediately. I don't even care.

I finally caved and switched from bunny boi to cat boi. The lack of hats was one thing, but I don’t like the male viera slouch. It makes them look awkward in 90% of glamour.

I could do without the crooked hands, but male miqo have the best standing and running animations.

So much this. The same happened to me. I used to fantasia every once in a while, then stayed F-Viera for the whole of ShB. My favourite race without a doubt and wishing for a male version. Then they release this "thing" and I just managed to keep it until I finished the EW MSQ. Every now and then I see one of them running around and think "What if..." but nah, the body is just too awkward and the limitations are absurd.

I never played F2P but I started Genshin Impact last year and oh my… it wasn’t good to my wallet ! So many cool characters to collect…
I spent a lot in glamours on the Assassin’s Creed licenses too. Video games are my main hobby now besides reading so I try to allocate some reasonable budget to it.

Yeah I’m glad to have that mount ! I changed country to live with my husband and since my original character was on an account made in Switzerland, I couldn’t afford prices in CHF anymore, I had to use €. So I let my Swiss PlayStation account behind me and created a French account+ a new character on 2018. I lost all my events rewards in the process so I’m glad to have a few back at each event sales

Yeah, pretty much the same. Games like this are pretty much the only leisure things I really spend money on, so while many others spend on an assortment of other hobbies. I spend on these kind of things. I know my microtransaction takes probably aren't well liked around here, but I don't care.

It would definitely hurt to lose all your stuff. I honestly don't think I would play this game again if I had to start from scratch.

Oh no! I hope my own low impulse control didn't help sway you! Regardless, I hope you enjoy your stay as viera again! I did see a couple relatively nice hairstyles get added to them in the recent update, so that might be pretty good.

I had nothing to do, so I decided to work with photoshop and give SE some ideas to solve the problem of some hats that, clearly, would be more difficult to implement (and that the community still hasn't come up with a solution).
I started looking, and I found the Kupo crown.

The first solution I found, is only possible by editing the crown, and making it unique for vieras.
First of all, it is necessary to reduce the height of it, to better accommodate the ears. Soon after, some rings of the crown should be removed, so as not to clip on all ear models.
The moogle ears would have to be relocated, passing from the middle to the front of the crown, so that the viera's ears could pass through. Finally, add two holes for the ears, and voila

The second idea would only mess with the character's ears, without needing to edit the crown itself. But before continuing, a question:
I thought a lot about whether or not I should open a new thread about it, but I don't know if it would end up dying over time. Would there be enough people interested in finding designs for viera and hrothgar hats to feed a thread?

Continuing, the second option would be the solution to all SE problems. It simply fits almost any occasion, no need to change helmet by helmet, just add a version for each ear and no more problems.

Simply lower the ears and place the helmet on top. Repeat this for all helmets that are wide enough to have this option.



I must confess that I got this idea from the bugs bunny.
