Now that we are on it, do Hrothgar have any long hairstyles?

It's not one of my favourites either, but if we want everything I've just got to accept I won't like them all (because I definitely don't like them all already.) I'm also just not a big fan of face 2 male Viera which is the face in this image. It's so small and babyish. Face 3 is *chef kiss*.

not...really. Runarstyle is very spiky and wild but I wouldn't say "long" no hroth base style is long.
None we got in 6.1 are long either so the closest to long are the two island sanctuary ponys from 6.2.
Artoriel and the "Jesus" hair mviera got in 6.1 would be the longest we will have access to, unless 6.3 adds two hairs as well, one besides the new incredibly short cut that some highlander wore in previews.
I'd love to ASSUME we'll finally get hien or hildas styles from the IS update but its looking unlikely.

I get some powerful euphoria from my bunboi. Good chance I'm going to have to swap back to male just for that gorgeous haori from Tataru's questline. I've never seen anything more my style implemented in XIV.

It's so insanely detailed, intricate and gorgeous. I'm shocked it isn't a store item, but no, you'll get it from Tataru's Grand Endeavor questline in 6.3. Endwalker has been really knocking it out of the park in terms of glamour/event rewards in my opinion.

I don't really understand a lot of it. I know people have used "furry" as a derogatory term in general though.

There have been plenty of people, both here on the forums and in game, who have admitted to either swapping off hrothgar because of dissatisfaction with the race's stupid restrictions, or saying they want to play hrothgar but don't because of how the race is handled. So we know there'd be more players if the race was actually, you know, serviceable.

It's the same thing with viera. More players would play/stay on viera if it wasn't for the limitations. It's unfortunate.

Depends who you ask. At the most, they're at the very low end of the furry scale.

Yeah, I think miqo'te and viera, etc. are a big reason a lot of players won't give it a try, because this is apparently a "weeb furry game", or something along those lines.

That is their loss then. I have a lot of love for Ronso from playing FFX, so regardless of how furry the people might conceive them to be, they will still be my favourite.
And if a person having animal ears and a tail is the reason for not giving it a try. Then they didn't want to play in the first place and are just looking for excuses.
They better not be playing any game that has anything besides humans or they are massive hypocrites! But then again, that is none of my business...

Pretty much. I would have played this game years before I did if there wasn't such a public stigma about it. I have have said that before... But I gave it a try, and it's been my main mmorpg for 6 years now, on top of that I only have played "furry" races ! ..Although, I wish they would improve it in many ways. Like viera/hrothgar being up to par, and for them to actually give us more quality things!

It is funny though, because a lot of these same people play WoW for example, and I am pretty sure that game has quite a few actual furry races, whilst this game only has male hrothgar..
