It\\\\'s not really my take, but the take of the developers who are concerned about healers being distracted and I can sort of see where they are coming from with how SCH was busier before the dot removal. Shadow Flare was particularly annoying with the long cast. Some people may be able to handle it but not everyone and they want to design the game for everyone.

I don't care if its your or the devs, it just goes to show how out of touch they are and how stupid the idea of healers is in the current content, I guess thats what happens when a ultimate lv blm is allowed to test the content but better remove the extreme level healer cause they are to good... But let me get some things straight cause what you said is mostly wrong

1st: Before its removal Shadowflare was instant cast and Sch could comand the fairy mid cast so it never got in the way of healing, that removal was unnecesary

2nd: Dots didn't make Sch busier, only 1 dot was ogcd and due to not having such a heal bloated kit the cpm of offensive actions back then was the same as now the only difference is that back then instead of broil some of the casts were different

3rd: If they really want to make healers for everyone then their design absolutely fails. Healers are the least populated role and the one with the least gameplay variety to the point 2 healers are almost clones. If you want a role to be for "everyone" then you add different playstyles and jobs that work at all skill ranges but healers are none of that, they are not for everyone, they are just the afterthought of a bunch of devs that do not know the healer gameplay (all of them are dps mains) nor seem to listen to the feedback which is why we get the "go play ultimate" or devs thinking back in Sb Sch didn't heal when it was the highest hps healer
