Just to jump in on this point. I have an alt that is currently level 77 on their main job but has few others semi-levelled. Their MSQ progression is actually only maybe halfway through SB (I don't recall exactly where as I haven't touched them outside of seasonal events for a very long time). I've spent some Gil on them to buy some cosmetic items I wanted but had I not done that, and without even doing much side content, I would easily have enough Gil to buy a small or maybe even a medium if I really scrimped. Yet they still have a Sprout icon. Also, it can take VERY long before that sprout goes away. You can easily have leveled 5 characters to 80 by just playing the game in a normal way, and still only be in stormblood. Especialy as a casual player this goes fast because of the daily duty roulette xp bonusses (and because some classes also start at 60).
A sprout doesnt say anything about a player, except for how far he has progressed in the MSQ.
While I'm not going to even try buying a house for them, just having a Sprout icon is no real indication of how long a character has really been around or what their gameplay status is.

You're a sprout for like 300 hours of gameplay these days, I don't see an issue.

oh yea I just checked that now you can only have two houses. cool. still doesnt excuse the whole grandfathered thing you said.
ok i know it's sarcasm lmao but did you try to use emojis
also SE put themselves in this corner and keeps insisting we be in this corner LMAO idk how people can be content with bandaids upon bandaid fixes for this stupid system

you have only a bid per account. you could not bid for example with character A for house 1 and character B for house 2, even if A and B are in different Free companies. This shouldn't be a thing that's allowed. At all. Period. I've seen three to four sprouts running around to houses. ALL with only up to 70 or 80 level, in an FC made 4 months ago. With only themselves in the FC. Clearly an alt character or somebody that's either loaded on cash and wants to try and get multiple houses or somebody new who has bought gil. This new system is wild
Also let me add. There are also NEW FC's with nothin gbut sprouts that were made after people found out the rules. Therefore allowing them to work the system further.
If they had the balls to do another character and pay a sub for the chance of an house, well good for them.
on the other hand, SE should not allow lalafell and rabbits to bid. They are insanely evil races and they will spread madness in the whole ward.
I have 10,000 needles,
I'm not a weaver,
and I'm not scared to use them.

Yes, especifically the mindblow emoji
Yea, honestly I already owned a house and after being content with decorating it, it stopped being fun, then I stopped wanting to play the game and I couldn't because i had a house eventually I just let go and to this day I think that people that pay sub only to have the house are nuts.
