I guess if the topic of old job styles being better than current are on the table, going to shout out Stormblood Summoner. Easily my main at the time, was just the perfect flowing job with using Aetherflow as your base. You use Aetherflow, which you spend to get dreadwrym aether, which upon activating build you to Bahamut. It was incredibly intuitive and all you had to do was manage your aetherflow.

Aetherflow management was my favorite thing. Now both iterations of it are just fire and forget, it's disappointing.
