    I tried the change and this definitely feels wrong. Xenosys made a video praising this whole thing and after trying it I feel like it is more of a nerf to warrior than a benefit. The overpower had better range than other tank AOEs at the cost of hitting things behind it. This new circle aoe actually reduced the effective area for the attack, since once you have the enemies around you it's childs play to hit all the targets.

    Maybe they want people to stop playing warrior? I'm hoping they can swap this back or boost the effective radius so it isn't a strait nerf. Not to mention the attack looks way less impressive now than it once did.

    Also I'm serious about the stop playing warrior part. I do think it is one of the easier tanks to play due to a number of reasons, including the aoe it once had.

    I certainly wouldn't take his opinion as gospel, he probably doesn't particularly care about Overpower in the first place since he doesn't do dungeons.

    Exactly, seems most people that "like" this change fall into two categories:
    * other tanks levelling WAR and not bothering to learn how to effectively use the cone
    * tanks that don't do dungeons (with WAR anyway)

    As an aside, others (non WAR) have started noticing as well. I've seen comments that mobs are easier to be missed and pulls are slower after this nerf.

    I rarely run dungeons at this point as I just don't like grinding for tomestones. When I'm sitting at 595 and closing in on clearing P4S....dungeons are the LAST thing I worry about. I log in once a week to get my savage clears....play some PvP (now that it's fun)...get the coin from the alliance raid...then log out to go play elden ring or work on the house.

    I highly doubt Xeno thinks about running dungeons so he can cap out his tomestones so that he can spend it on gear he doesn't need. Pretty sure he is full BIS on warrior and really if EVER hits the AOE buttons in savage content except out of P3S adds, which isn't hard to grab the adds at all.

    I don't even have my AOE's on my raid hotbar set outside of P3S, and generally have my shirk macro, provoke, nascent macro for OT, Arms Length visible. I hardly EVER pull off my main hotbar. I do this simply to put all my focus on the fight mechanics rather then watching my GCD timer roll. Everything is right where I need it.

    That's fair, but that doesn't mean the change isn't detrimental to those of us who enjoy(ed) running dungeons. Someone who doesn't care about the abilities because they don't run dungeons probably should refrain from calling a change "good" when, in fact, they simply don't care.

    Note that this is my understanding based on the discussion that's been had here so far, I personally didn't even know who Xeno was and I also haven't watched the referenced video.
