This is a bold faced lie, you can't use bad tanking to justify a bad decision. I get you were able to get through your brainded dungeon runs just fine without it, but the fact is you were clearly punishing your parties more than necessary if you never understood how to use the cone effectively to begin with. Hell every dungeon I've healed non-WARs, it's just a choice between torture or the tank missing half the mobs if positioning correctly, why do they have to deal with this? Why did they give WAR the same issue instead of removing the issue from the other three tanks?
I don't have any problems with people learning things at their own pace and approaching content in a way that makes them feel extra cushy comfy uwu o.O
But you're in the tank role subsection of the forums defending a decision by the devs to remove an important and useful tool to tanks. It's fine if you didn't understand the tool, but please don't defend the decision to remove it if you can't justify it at all. "it just works fine/ works fine without it" doesn't explain why we lost a great tool that not only worked every time on time exactly as intended, but just plain felt great too.
