To Devs about Adventurer Plates

Also I know I am going back to an old thread, but does no one see the irony is saying the world doesn't revolve around you while insisting on a feature being forced upon all other players because they personally want to see it more?

The user stated they saw no reason for it, despite evidence to the contrary that other people did find it appealing in the self same thread. So it was a response to make them aware that others may not feel that way. It struck me as self centered. The reason is that other people want it. And the potential to inconvenience others is low.

Later during the thread I explained there could be an opt out method no problem, showing consideration for others. So I think forcing this feature is a little bit fabricated on your part.

However I do not hide my appreciation for the work the Devs have put in and my desire to see it expanded in locations it would make sense.

You need to make this go mainstream to maximize its value. Therefore please remove the little commendation tab at the bottom right of the screen at the end of the dungeon and then:

1. When you exit a dungeon the screen changes to the new commendation screen displaying adventurer plates
2. You click on the one you want to commend or a No Thanks/Skip
3. You load into the overworld

Then, people will actively be very interested in making their plates as cool as possible.

Yes I said that. Did you read all the pages? You have to remember there’s other pages where people pose these questions and I give answers.

In fact, the sentence right before the one you highlighted tells you all you need to know about whether this is forced or not.

Honest question. Why not just have it opt in? It's changing the system to something new, and seems odd to force the change and make you hop through hoops to change it back, short settings they may be.

Honest answer, realistically, from the bottom of my heart I feel most players would be okay with it and actually like it. It also creates advertising for the plates so users that don't keep up with PLLs and Patch notes or do PvP come in contact with them more organically. Judging by this thread I still think those suspicions are somewhat confirmed. Generally the forums lend themselves to say no to everything and the response is more positive than negative. But this is not scientific.

If they make it opt in no big deal though. I just think itll be more impactful if it is opt out, and most users will just leave the default on. =P I also have no evidence this will happen but I bet even a few people who said they wouldn't like it on here would eventually come around on it and get excited about making their own plate.

Other highly successful games already have a version of this screen at the end of instances/matches etc... This isn't bleeding edge stuff.
