For what its worth, you will be able to get a free transfer off once the new worlds open on the other DCs
But maybe by then the population will balance itself and there will be more people in the higher content

Still confused about this. Is this end game stuff again? Last night four of us queued for the ARR crystal tower raids at like 1am AEST. One of us doubted it would pop given the time and being midweek. Within five minutes we were in. Frontlines is PVP? Certainly keen to do that once I'm at max level, but again it's going to take time for us new sprouts to get up there.I don't mind long queues, I have a lot of time to play the game. But there is loads of content which simply NEVER pops no matter how long you queue for it. There isn't enough people queueing across the entire datacenter to fill even one instance, at any time of day. To say nothing of more niche content like running old raids for glamour. I had to pay people (in gil, obviously) to do an unsynced run of an Omega raid for a glam piece I wanted. The new PvP revamp just dropped and I haven't been able to get a single run of Frontlines across probably 4-5 hours of queueing at different times of day. Yeah, everyone is doing Crystal Conflict, but not even ONE Frontlines, even just for the daily bonus at prime time? I've been playing since Heavensward and even back then when the playerbase was a fraction of what it is now, I've never had population issues like this before.
We get from your many posts that you are having no issues in ARR content. It may come as a surprise to you, but this game came out in 2013 and there are indeed people at end game.
Apparently none of them are on OCE though.

We get that your frustrated that new servers don't have the established end game population of those that came out in 2013 and that your having issues in end game content. It may come as a surprise to you, but there are a bunch of us levelling now and there will be more people looking to do end game content in a couple of months.
But seriously, if you don't like it and can't wait, just exacerbate the problem and pay for a transfer back.
Also, my 'many posts'? You've posted something over 20 times in this thread..... I'd posted 3 times.

Most people are happy. Please re-read that. Most people are happy.
A tiny number are not and that's fine, it's their leisure time, and it's always important to do what they personally find fun. Nobody wants to force them to do unfun things. Nobody wants to hold them in a gaol of boredom.
The 90 day transfer moratorium is up in 11 days at this point (25 April). This very small handful of people who are unhappy can then start moving back to NA or back to JP. Free transfers coming up very soon for the new JP data centre, or they can pay the small fee of about 2 fantasias and go back to their old servers as soon as the moratorium lifts for them.
I've been through this before, this is expected for a sprout datacentre, things take time, a lot of time. It will get busy at endgame eventually, because most of us are quite busy in older content still.
I would respectfully and gently ask, those who are unhappy and want to transfer off Materia to kindly consider stop being a downer for the rest of us.

As someone who just transferred yesterday, if anything I would encourage the opposite. Stay on OCE and encourage more people to move off their crowded data centers. Lots of room and housing, our community has elements of both NA and JP, and we know that we have to help each other out to make up for the lower numbers. I would really love to see more of the content creators move, as they would have a lot of pull, and could widely demonstrate what can be gained from this new ground.
Seriously, most plots only have 1 person signed up and many have 0. Prime real estate.
The hit to ping can be jarring, but it's still perfectly playable and many people from OCE playing on NA do really well in raiding. We just to need to push the potential benefits more and encourage more people to make the jump.
When you have lag, every action is an adventure.

You can start on PVP any time you like – you only need to be level 30, and maybe to have ranked up in your GC somewhat.
There are two unlock quests: one for the Wolves' Den and one for Frontline. I can't remember whether they both start from the GC headquarters or if Frontline is based at the airship landing.

So Australians love complaining it’s been like they for decades in gaming. They complain about America or Americans and often when they get their own servers they never go and will stay and complain some more. Honestly I wish they would force anyone with a European IP address to get on an European server and the same with Aussies
