My only concern with the way teleports and anima work in this game.

Never understood the whole "If you don't like it don't use it" mentality on this particular topic. There are many reasons why it's impossible to not use it.

1.) EXP Parties you're in will use it to get to a particular area. Thus you used it.
2.) Linkshell members are going to use it to get to particular areas for raids and other content. Thus you used it.
3.) The imbalance in not using it compared to those that do is so staggering that you would always be behind your friends/other players in terms of progression due to time spent on walking compared to time saved teleporting. Which wouldn't happen anyways because you're not going to tell your friends "I don't like Anima Teleportation so you can't use it while we do stuff together."

Head out of rear end people. This is a legit problem. Teleporting everywhere, while nice, removes you from exploration. Which sucks. There needs to be other limiting factors on this other than time to regenerate anima. I think having to visit the Aetheryte crystal or node to be able to go there by teleport at later dates is a good suggestion. It makes people explore the world and earn the teleport to that camp/area.

If that is correct, then i would assume you would not level until you walk to all those areas. This would be your choice, correct?

So if my choice is to actually get teleported somewhere and save 5 hrs of walking somewhere through a bunch of lvl 80 mobs why is that wrong?

Getting the crystal by walking is a suggestion, not an answer. However, completely removing it would be silly. Though I will say that going to particular nodes on foot with your linkshell or a group of players is not as bad as it sounds. Solo it would probably suck. But I am viewing this from the standpoint of being a new player with other new players...not the current community who has everything done already. If you have lots of new players to explore with and do this with it could be fun.

How could you have teleported when you first started playing the game. Did people just walk up to you and ask to teleport you to all the camps even the mini aths that cant be teleported to unless you've been there already.

How?
Some people actually offered to teleport me to the major cities and I said no. I prefered to walk. That may not always be everyone's choice.
The mini aths you mentioned are of course different, since you have to walk to all of them yourself.

I was running around outside UD and i asked for direction on something, i do not recall what, and after some conversation, they actually gave me 10 k to buy a weapon and asked if i want a teleport to Gridania. Why is that so fuckin hard to believe?

Your questions are WEIRD at best, I still do not get why you are asking them, but i figured I may as well humour you.
