i have shouted an waited and all that. just ppl in selbina are very clicky and selfish. kinda sux bad. think bout tranferring. another thing is that the folks that i helped out alot to lvl up and get achievements wont even gimme 10 min of their time.

I'm gonna say all lies, I got my af quest done, no ls, shout groups where people helped me out the whole way, people who didn't even need the quest helping.

I haven't had any issues getting PuGs for AF groups to be honest. People are constantly shouting for them in Uldah

I don't think the issue is that the players of Selbina are cliquey and selfish, most of the players I've met have been nothing but kind and helpful.

I was referring to true pick up groups, not running with my friends or linkshell mates, so no, it's not BS.

You have a reputation for being hot headed, intolerant and impatient, so can you blame them for being hesitant to help you out? Try being nice to people for once, I hear it works wonders...

It sucks but Linkshells generally only care about keeping member numbers up and not exactly about the members themselves. Good ones exist, but they're rare.

Really? No wonder so many LSes have been wiped from the face of Eorzea.

Running a successful ls is not a numbers game. It's about reputation. That reputation is built through teamwork, caring for members, and keeping them engaged.

Sorry you've had such a rough time OP, but I'd suggest finding a new shell. If your LS mates won't help you, what's the shell good for?

Vegeta666, I'm sure you realize this but let me remind you - Reputation counts for a lot in a community, and you need to build a good rapport with at least one group of people in order to do anything in the game. Even if you opt for pickup groups, people might naturally shy away from you simply because of the negativity surrounding your name.

We have the same problem with one particular player on Mysidia who has resorted to begging for Linkshell invites due to his shouts of random stupidity on the streets of Ul'dah.

I must admit, I also find it painful. I didnt see an Aurum-Raid shout today or MNK Endfight.
Atm its a "get it done now..or never" cause since there arent any newcomers to the game, this issue might vanish after 2.0 but now its a real pain.
Most ppl done these quests at the weekend where the patch came out.
Right now I see some ppl shouting for ppl for certain quests for 2 hours.

I find the exact same problem on Lindblum to be honest with you.Even people shouting are becoming picky with the classes I find.This is what is making these quests so long, gathering a party is really tough. Luckily I've gotten the classes I want done and I like to think my reputation is high I don't think I have ever made anyone mad or ever not helped someone who needed it even randoms but still I agree it is frustrating.
