You should come to Mysidia and join my pickup groups! I just throw up recruit for Any > Lv50 and start shouting. Even so, it's a rarity that we fail to do what we set out to get done.I find the exact same problem on Lindblum to be honest with you.Even people shouting are becoming picky with the classes I find. This is what is making these quests so long, gathering a party is really tough. Luckily I've gotten the classes I want done and I like to think my reputation is high I don't think I have ever made anyone mad or ever not helped someone who needed it even randoms but still I agree it is frustrating.
My signature is edible. Go ahead, try some.
Sound kinda weird , What was LS for if they're not keep contacting each other and helping each other out.
Well from all the comments i read , maybe it's your attitude that keep ppl away from you.
Keep in touch with ppl around you will cause you no harm I would say.
One of 2 things, either people on Selbina think you are an asshole and will not invite you, or your LS members are assholes (what you are saying in this thread) the general consensus in my ls is we help people when they need it and we are free for no personnal gain because we are all friends, we don't need to be told we should help eachother we just do. That is what will keep a LS going because when we open applications we can tell our friends how awesome the LS is and how we always help eachother out.
I am very active in all my LS even a leader in two of my linkshells. I think I can also say that most who have played with me would think I was fun to play with and very helpful in fact I even put off leveling and doing things for myself to help others pretty much every night (^_^;; which is putting me abit behind but I don't mind) so my attitude definitely isn't the problem in my opinion. Parties will come up and do it can just be frustrating sometimes but I don't know what it is my 3 linkshells are great with some amazing people maybe I am just impatient lol.
My problem is that I was rolling with a group to do Darkhold so we can do Aurum Vale (that's what it's called, right?) and get the final piece of our Dragoon armor. We wiped a good amount of times because we didn't plan accordingly (or stick to the plan the first time) and it kind of bit us in the ass in the end.
It was late so a lot of us logged off. When I logged back on the next day I found out that they finished darkhold and were about to complete Aurum Vale, so that kind of bummed me out. Not because they did it without me, I mean, I was offline so there was nothing they could do about that. What bums me out is that they're on my friends list but I'm kind of hesitant to ask them for help. I know they finished it so I don't want to hassle them even though they probably wouldn't mind one bit.
It's how I am in real life as well. I want my Dragoon armor but I also want the 4000 seals you get for completing darkhold. Basically, what I'm getting at is, "Make me be more assertive!"
I'm not even sure that was the right word to use, but I'll roll with it.

From start to finish I'm 7/8 for jobs. These was all done via pick up parties. Bard which took the longest to get a party was a little over 2 hours be we got it done. You need to be patient, if you can't find a party asap, and short on time, get the initial 2-3 quest's done solo (most of em are solo-able) and shout for the party oriented quests.
F*** yeah, green apples!
Transfer to Wutai (Masamune). We have a great community here.
might wanna try a new linkshell if they dont do anything.
saronia community ftw!!
I'm 6/7 on only got war left which I'll finish up tommorow I have had no problems finding groups. One thing I did different after I finished mnk and blm was unlock and finish as much of the quests for my other 5 jobs that I can solo, then wait on shouts or shout my self.
Get a new LS :C
