can you take a screenshot and show me what the screen looks like? im having seeing it in my mind
Selecting from the menu, I start with this:

I can change my plate to THIS, for example, but whenever I X out these changes are discarded.

Is there a different save button overall? Every time I change the template, I see the new template. Whenever I try to modify the profile for peak hours, or privacy settings that change doesn't get reflected.
I X out, and start from the beginning again.
it should be as simple as editing the plate design and profile and hitting save when you are done....Selecting from the menu, I start with this:

it could possibly be a bug, they did say that the plate was still in 'beta' and i take it that means they haven't quite ironed out all the kinks yet.
Does the pic take time to update or something?
I changed it but it doesn't change on the adventurer plate?
I like it, and I see myself spending a lot of time playing around with it later. Especially if it received updates. First attempt. Someone should make a "Show your Adventurer Plate" thread. I don't want my poor work to be on top.
First (quick) attempt.. I'll play around with it more later, so don't be mean:
Maybe with (metallic silver) frame on portrait:
I'll have to play around with lighting and stuff later. Frame seems like too much.
You need to apply the portrait to the adventurer plate.

This is definitely bugged for some people, edited and saved multiple times and it keeps resetting and yes I am hitting save and the plate is set to public/everyone, my portrait itself saved but won’t link to the plate and none of my edits will save. Bummer
Adventure plate should have options for playstyles that cover out-of-game activities, as well as more options for in-game activities.
In-game activities:
- Main Scenario Quest (New Game+) - we have a MSQ option, but no NG+ specifically
- collection (minion, mount, orchestrion, sightseeing log, emotes)
- lore/quests - for people who obsess with lore so much that they clear every quest and level every job
- triple triad
- mahjong
- squadrons
- community event hosting
- community organization (FC, LS, CWLS) - it's not an easy task being the leader of a FC!
Out-of-game activities:
- lore/quests - for people who organize and summarize dialog and flavor text (there's so much of it)
- community organization
- event hosting
- Lodestone - did you know it's also a social network?
- official forums - you are here!
- non-official forums
- play guide/walkthroughs - may be combined with the next one
- fan site building
- fan artwork/music/prop/cosplay/handcraft
- fan videos/livestreamer
I think of myself as a MSQ/Lore/mentor player currently focused on Eureka, even though the game still considers me as a "new adventurer". Gotta do ALL the quests!

You have to right click the saved portrait on the portrait list, then select Apply to Adventurer Plate in the drop down menu.

Does the "active time" reflect your local timezone or do you have to convert it to the server's local time yourself.
Bah, that sucks. I really wanted to try it out; I'm in the same exact scenario.
