Another thing, this only applies to Legacy Players
if your legacy Tattoo is turned off, do /legacymark to turn it back on.
Don't ask me why, and yes it is extremely stupid reason..........
But if your legacy mark is turned off, it will not let you save.......
yes, stupid........
omg finally, this was what it was. thank you!
I absolutely adore this feature! I had a lot of fun messing around with it. It feels somewhat like we're making an "Eorzea ID Card." I also enjoy checking out other people's Adv plates. It really shows off everyone's different personalities quite well!
Of course, it's still in beta so it's missing a lot of poses and has only a few decorative elements. I would love to see more colors and textures we can add to the background. (Pink would be great lol.) I was planning on using certain poses that are unfortunately left out for now but I'm sure they'll add them all eventually. I'd also like it if our Search comment wasn't what is displayed and instead the plates used a separate description with a larger text limit.
Here's my favorite that I've made so far:
I didn't know that they show up during PvP. I'm too nervous to play CC since I'm afraid of messing up and being the reason my team would lose. But knowing that my plate can show up makes me more interested in checking out CC! I hope they make it so our plates appear in other places in the game. I feel like it's a little bit hidden right now.
Also the playtime clock is hella confusing to look at. These yellow bars are really bad for reading people's playtime. I'd rather it was a simple "Weekdays Playtime - 3:00pm to 7:00pm CST" type of format but whatever lmao.
Adventure plate should have options for playstyles that cover out-of-game activities, as well as more options for in-game activities.
In-game activities:
- Main Scenario Quest (New Game+) - we have a MSQ option, but no NG+ specifically
- collection (minion, mount, orchestrion, sightseeing log, emotes)
- lore/quests - for people who obsess with lore so much that they clear every quest and level every job
- triple triad
- mahjong
- squadrons
- community event hosting
- community organization (FC, LS, CWLS) - it's not an easy task being the leader of a FC!
Out-of-game activities:
- lore/quests - for people who organize and summarize dialog and flavor text (there's so much of it)
- community organization
- event hosting
- Lodestone - did you know it's also a social network?
- official forums - you are here!
- non-official forums
- play guide/walkthroughs - may be combined with the next one
- fan site building
- fan artwork/music/prop/cosplay/handcraft
- fan videos/livestreamer
I think of myself as a MSQ/Lore/mentor player currently focused on Eureka, even though the game still considers me as a "new adventurer". Gotta do ALL the quests!

You have to right click the saved portrait on the portrait list, then select Apply to Adventurer Plate in the drop down menu.

Does the "active time" reflect your local timezone or do you have to convert it to the server's local time yourself.
The time section needs an overhaul/localization pass. “0:00 a.m.” and “0:00 p.m.” are just bizarre expressions and the colored markers for the times are not visually intuitive. Some kind of drop-down selection boxes to specify a range of time, like on the Community Finder, would make a lot more sense.
Would like to be able to change the color of the backdrops. Right now my favorite is the slightly transparent one but it only comes in blue and kinda clashes with the aesthetic of my portrait.
So basically more control over the colors.
already seen enough up the skirt plates to last me a lifetime.
but otherwise a cool little feature
