Agreed. It's far easier and far better to take some of the potency off of our biggest hits and spread them elsewhere, either into our other GCD's, into Shinten or as a part of Higanbana. While they're at it, reverting the Tenka aoe shape change would be great. Not only does it hit like a wet noodle now but it's reach is terrible.

I understand some SAM players really wanting the big hit Midares but this is the best compromise we can go for.

The animation on Tenka also looks jank as hell after being so used to the conal for years, and for some reason it didn't get the auto-crit treatment either *AND* you don't need to have a target selected to pop it now. SAM's entire AOE rotation can be done without even having a target selected now. Just feels bad.
