Same with my server. I bought my apartment in the middle of ShB in shirogane and it was still only room #2 in the specific ward I bought it in. To date, I think it's only up to like 6 or 7. lolI'd happily drop the entire Ward system if upgradeable apartments were a thing (and if Apartments could be treated like houses in terms of Estate-sharing). The game needs a gil sink, and I believe upgradeable apartments are a good way to do that.
In addition, it'd also increase the demand for them, as my own server has a lot of free apartments due to the lack of demand.
The moment SE has capacity to provide any potential player with an apartment equivalent to a large house is the moment we can just have infinite wards. And unlimited glamour dresser as a bonus.
The sky isn't the limit. Data storage is.
Larger apartment/suite would be nice. Honestly I wouldn't mind if these larger options let you take one tenant as well. Due to the housing shortage it'd be nice for those eternally bonded to have similar access to the same place.
If only there was a system in place that would let a player move from a smaller house to a larger one without losing any of their interior items? Being an aquarium scientist and not a software developer, I'm out of my element here, but since we can relocate and our home interiors are instances, I can't see it being a herculean task to come up with a way to link a house interior to an apartment entrance. I'm probably missing something significant about coding and if I am, I welcome being educated on the topic.
Have my vote for expanded visions on apartments because this housing situation is a dumpster fire and I'm wholly convinced at this point that Yoshi has no intentions whatsoever in fixing it. I don't understand why they give us so many stupid housing items when probably half the damn player base can't even use them.
I'm not sure where you got the "make apartments bigger than mansions" bit. I suppose from my initial post it was a bit ambiguous as to the size of the apartments, but I was envisioning them being of similar size to current housing sizes. If you have an issue with the item limits I suggested, then feel free to let me know what are the current item limits for the cottage, house, and mansions currently in the game. I was under the impression that the limits were quite huge. I know my apartment is currently 100 slots so that is the only thing I can actually say for certain is accurate.
I'm curious why you think there would be no point it all. I disagree that these are silly suggestions, but I'm still open to feedback. Let's discuss and maybe we can come to an understanding.
people just don't want apartments because you can't do anything with them. If they had options I guarantee you a lot of those apartments would be filled and decorated.
OP , We have suggested things like this for a while now imho, it is indeed a fix and they need to seriously dive into it now!!
No more avoiding , a fix is right there!!!
I would jump at an xxl space/penthouse whatever they would call it ,especially if it is instanced and NOT DEMOLISHED EVER! no "conditions"
** Item limits need to be 1000 /floor (min). for very detailed decorators.***
♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!
Apartments need a huge overhaul-
But their item limit sizes need to match current house sizes
So a small apartment- 200 items
Medium- 300
Large- 400
A Small could have an extra floor/ room
Medium 2 rooms
Large 3 rooms
Apartments should allow for tenants/ members added to a single apartment so you can share with your friends
Apartments are needed due to the housing shortage that will always be there unless there is an entire overhaul
All apartments should have a garden/ indoor plot but the amount of garden plots vary per size
And I love your suggestions with the Atrium, Greenhouse, etc
Lovely ideas & I hope this thread is looked into
