Not now, but it doesn't bode well for the future. Not many left in WoW's Cataclysm either, but it was the start of the game's steady decline.
lmao nobody is "walking away" the population is only going up.
And despite all the fuss and everything else, WoW is still insanely populated and active to this day. Again, people who cry they'll unsub but keep that sub charging.
People act like those folks in FCs getting houses don't also want personal houses.
Can bet your butts that if you weren't able to get a personal house if you were in a FC with one, FC membership would drop like a rock.
I don't understand this decision whatsoever.
Most of the people I played with outright quit last raid tier and aren't impressed with the current one enough to start playing again.
Population is dropping. A lot. it's got classic buffering it's numbers, but the population is still shrinking.
This problem wouldn't exist if personal housing didn't exist at all. Just saying.
Also personal preferences. Some might prefer certain wards to the ward their FC house is in.
Housing is, after all, catering to your own tastes.
I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.
The list of FCs with 512 active(ish) players all owning rooms would be insanely small throughout the entire game. You used the most extreme example I have ever seen. The VAST MAJORITY of FCs are no where near that size. That's exactly why FC's shouldn't be getting most of the wards. FC houses can have 512 rooms for one single house.
512
So no, that isn't a good reason. And how many poeple do you actually see interacting with each other in wards? None.
This is a Blizzard level stupid decision and should be reworked.
