I'm just sad I was never able to get me a medium at least before housing will become effectively impossible to get. I can pretty much never unsub for long(er) periods or I will likely never have a house again.

Unless you are insanely lucky, yeah probably. Anyone who wants to have a house right now is pretty much locked in at this point. If anyone were to win a plot, with the chances they will be, I wouldn't recommend ever letting your sub run out for too long. You would have to be super lucky to win a plot twice.

I had a medium house at from the tail end of HW to the middle of Stormblood. I was so mad about Eureka that I left the game and decided to cut my losses. Came back some time later and was able to snag a medium Shirogane plot and that is what I've had since. I guess I didn't realize just how lucky I was at the time with how terrible the housing system has become.

My small plot was just a placeholder, but I never saved enough money to go for bigger, and I thought I had time to one day go house hunting. I guess not.. I will still on occasion probably try to get one, but I am not holding my breath.
