SQE pays attention to data regarding how much people play a job (loads of developers do this in similar games, it's some of the best and easiest data to gather), it was one of the reasons for Summoner's rework since it had such an astoundingly low player count.

So if anyone is in the boat where they can just drop Samurai and play something else until we get anything at all to address our concerns I suggest you do.
It's perfectly fine if you can't or don't want to, but do keep making noise!
Raise a bigger stink than the Hagakure debacle that happened just like this in early SHB!
This hasn’t helped healers though. They’re the least played role and numbers have dropped significantly and no major changes have been done :/ I doubt they care
