Exactly! No where on the patch notes does it confirm anything but the 'hairstyles' and since hrothgar have not had any hair options from the aesthetician before we can only ASSUME they will add it since nothing is being confirmed. It's not unheard of for people to be upset since we assumed we'd get hair options and instead got the wigs. We have only assumptions and nothing to really set the bar at so a lot of people are upset and unsure.

You mean these ones? At BEST it is just very poor wording and they will be adding a hairstyle option to the Aesthetician for Hrothgars to edit the hair, in which case the issue of 'ugly wigs' still stands.

You're a Hrothgar, show me where you have a "hairstyle section". Oh, you don't, you have a fur pattern section instead. So either you can change hair inside your fur pattern or they gave you a hairstyle tab, either way you can assume you're not paying for hair anymore.

Key word being ASSUME. The character creator is getting a hairstyle tab, woohoo small progress has been made. We still have 0 confirmation that the Aesthetician is being updated though we once again ASSUME it is. Cool. You can ASSUME that each of Hrothgar's 4 faces are all gonna have 6 new versions (1 for each of the new hairs) added to the CC for a total of 24 new heads! No, wait, there's more! Seeing as each of the Hrothgar's current hairs had added bits in the face features tab that's now been taken out of there and combined with the hair as an option, that means that each of the 8 current Hrothgar heads has to have an alt version, right, so that's ... 32 new heads in the CC?!?

Or, ya know, they just made a hairstyle tab/ put hairstyles in the fur pattern tab which would allow you to change hair like everyone else does.

But nah, I'm sure the sky is falling and they made things even worse now! Cause now you can no longer change hair bits in the face features tab, so surely that must cost $10 now. D:

As someone who plays as a limited race, I'd think you'd be understanding of people being skeptical. Hrothgars haven't been able to change hair w/o Fanta for 3 years. We had to wait till 6.1 while they focused on Male Bunny boys for more "hairstyles" aka wigs. If you're gonna be condescending and talk down to Hrothgar players who are understandable upset then please exit the thread swiftly.

I know reading a full post might be difficult for you so I'll hold your hand and walk you through it. Again assuming you are correct with this and that would be best case scenario, people don't really have much a bar to trust them with since Square has dropped the ball so hard on things before like making Hrothgar need to pay for basic things in the first place. The bar is essentially starting underground so most people are not getting their hopes up since we were promised hair styles and essentially got some wigs from a dumpster. Every Hroth is upset at these 'hair options' because it looks like a really bad last second effort. People are mad because things were vague and poorly written.


Now here's the big part you're really gonna wanna listen to: When you come out the gate like a snide ass wipe no one really is gonna listen or care for what ya say bruh. Maybe take a second to work on not being a piece of human garbage. You make a point, but when you are a raging ass people no longer care about your point. The issue with citing that male viera thing is you can't change to a male viera with the aesthetician. That doesn't apply to this situation at all. If anything, it further adds that a fantasia is required.

We've all made note of the hairstyle section bit. You're right, we don't have one, but it still doesn't mention anything about aesthetician where other hairstyle-related patch notes have in the past, for other races. Same with makeup styles and whatnot, when they're mentioned on event pages.

It's okay to be worried about the vague wording, because without proper clarification it is up in the air. We have no proof that it'll take a fantasia, but no one has any proof that it won't take one either. We all hope you're right though, believe me.
