Do you guys want a bad community?

In trueth getting a mod aka mommy should be last resort. I'm not afriend of in my upmost best to kindly ask them to stop.

Sorry but I was raised old fashion. I don't just sit and wait for a mod. That is just as bad as being a bully. Think of it like a naighborhood watch. Which is what we need. ppl willing to stop harassment before it increased and needing a mod to step in. It also saves time reporting ppl 20 times a day. (not a real number just an example).

But in reality how is asking a question really policing the forums? And who should I sit back and watch someone get needlessly harrassed?

I was epically harrassed in Aion (party why I'm quick to bite) For just being a newbie and asking questions. I got told go back to WoW just for saying hi im new, how is the game? I got told also that ima get raped like no tomarrow unless I reroll someplace else.

You made a thread and are walking around demanding people trest others better, that far more then a question. Also it is the mods JOB to handle the trouble makers and by creating threads like this you are not helping them, just creating more work for them. I used to mod in many games and one in particular was a server forum in which NO other mod could handle the people there except myself. Those who thought they were "helping" just added extra time on my daily shift of cleaning out the trash and setting people straight.

All I'm saying is by acting the way you are you are only causing more problems and in no way are you solving anything.

Edit: One more thing, please stop bringing up things that happened in a unrelated game because this is FFXIV not Aion or WoW. Different game, different community, different people. FFXIV will NEVER be like either of those games so thats not a valid arguement.

It wont turn into a big clutter of mess as long as they makes a game that relies on each other and focused on one character, one character means people has to keep their reputations ingame.

games like WoW and the other game that doesnt focus on one characters usually have bad community because you can get away with bad attitude, just make new character and no one knows who you are, it doesnt work here.

you, on the other hand is just damaging your reputation, when you start playing and people found out your character name, i will assure that you will be having hard time playing because of your attitude, your attitude doesnt go far in a game that requires teamworks, you are just going to spill everyone's mood with your moral police work.

This is an issue I keep seeing.
People (myself included which I am sorry for) are quick to cast judgement on others. We are too quick to witch hunt w.o getting all of the facts.

We also are too quick to judge based on spelling mistakes and errors. And to quick to judge ppl based off of what we experienced.

Pretty much, everyone in that thread thinks he is bashing the game. Or think he is an obviouse troll. And infact do not believe anyone is "that stupid" to not know how play a game.

Pretty much all of that was uncalled for reactions. That just don't need to happen, nor should be tolerated.

By the reaactions here, we all must agree that he is a troll and should be treated rudely and fighting against the popular assuptions is asking for trouble. Most of the ppl pretty much harassing me are just upset I don;t agree with them. And going out of their way to make me look bad. Like assuptions of me being to blame for my harasment in Aion.

Which wasn't the case, but that assumption is set in stone.

Can you honestly say that the ffxiv community will not turn trashy? Aion is not WoW but its community is just as trashy as WoW. And this community is slowly going down that road. A trashy community can happen no matter the mmo. Not saying that should be the norm.
So me bring up Aion as an example of what a community shouldn't be like is infact a valid example.

I infact had a stalker chick repeatedly tell me off for looking for a legion under level 25. That it was a "rule". Saying that my asking for a legion was a waste of space, I shouldn't have done it. And that I am a troll for doing so. This was again on the newbie section forum.
It can happen here easily. Don;t say it can't cuz Aion and ffxiv are different games.

Its because Kita was traumatized by a handful of people in a completely unrelated game and projects that onto the people on this forums. I just want all this BS to end cause I'm starting to get annoyed...

I can say 110% that FFXIV will NEVER become like those games, the community is not slowly going anywhere, at the moment everyone is frustrated that the game isn't upto standards, your "friend" came in spitting sillyness which just poured more gas on the fire. Its human nature and your indless ranting and complaining isn't going to change the human race.
