People wonder why some people are offering the idea of a change in devs. Yeah the recent interview with them and their views on healers and jobs in general is a prime example.

While I'll agree that there is hope with the changing of the devs would aid in some issues, I don't think we need to change them, but add to them.
It is very obvious they don't really have a dedicated healer/tank in the dev team to both highlight issues players are running into and/or give new ideas to address the concerns.
The problem as I see it is less to remove people and more to add people. Which... is probably a budget issue. If we're going to be honest.
I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

if we are being honest ,it feels less budget and more yoshida personal grudge against healers and tanks. While I'll agree that there is hope with the changing of the devs would aid in some issues, I don't think we need to change them, but add to them.

he publicly confessed that ff14 is making lots of money, in fact he claimed they will spend no expenses on the game so after that interview and this claim i can't see it as a budget issue anymore and i stop trusting him entirely when it comes to healers or any healer related issue.
as far as i am concern add people or don't i doubt he will do anything if it means actually listening or patching any healer.
Especially when you start seeing the absolute double standard he applied. “We can’t adjust healers right now because of the upcoming ultimate….but we’re also going to be changing dps jobs so significantly it might make some feel very different! We understand it’s a bit strange to do this before an ultimate but blah blah blah dps pandering.” Tired of the bs excuses and flat out lies he constantly is speaking.if we are being honest ,it feels less budget and more yoshida personal grudge against healers and tanks.

I mean, I'm trying NOT to be spiteful here.if we are being honest ,it feels less budget and more yoshida personal grudge against healers and tanks.

For all that I feel the devs flat out do not care... it is false (yes I know what was said in the interview).
They do genuinely care about the game and their players. To say they do not is a lie.
That said the Famitsu interview speaks volumes. Do I personally think they care about healer and tank concerns? No. Do I have proof to back that up? I have proof that gives my argument that they do not care credit (long standing LD issues, healer issues, lack of things for support/tank/healer), but it doesn't make it fact.
Even if I consider that interview pretty damning.

as i said i lost faith in them and despite what they said in any interview, actions speak louder then words.I mean, I'm trying NOT to be spiteful here.

they may love the game and some of their player base but their actions does not show any love towards their healers and that is just our community.
dont forget the other roles and jobs that begged for changes for years, changes that might have been small ones to be made at x.01, only for the devs to remember they exist and deal with it.
again this is how i see them right now, if they will actually address healers issues and show care i might change my view.
but right now from my view , EW uneven WHM changes to his gcd compare to ast gcd is one fix they could have done in 6.01 but didn't isn't showing from the devs any care to the job or role or the people who mains whm in any way.

You're completely right that reworks are 50/50, but that just makes it worse. We'll accept one ability and a few traits every 2 years because the developers are so bad at class design we have no faith they wouldn't ruin a job entirely if they tried to make it fun.
We don't even dream of asking for exciting class changes that aren't a mess.
The suits at Enix may be pushing for something else, rather than improving the game and its faults. Like ugly hairstyles and boring character creator. (partially joking) graphic update wont fix the CC and uninspired hairstyles.
With lack luster games like 12, 13 and 15 (im not calling them bad, i loved 12 but it had some issues) it shows how out of touch they are with the majority of their global audiences, still pushing somewhat confusing and disjointed stories with alien faced looking characters and Asian mannerisms that don't always connect with non Japanese. Creative and development teams likely have big ideas but big ideas cost money, and likely in the so to speak "editing room" where their freedom to create is slowly regressed and taken away in passive aggressive sticky notes and mind numbing meetings. I think this is what's happening slowly to FFXIV, but only in pockets. Yoshi-P is clearly a bit burnt and it may not be work related, but it may also be from trying to appease the narrow sighted higher ups breathing down his neck.
Ever single person on this current page is being ridiculous and overly dramatic.
