So you think you know how we who have been advocates for the Lottery system are going to react? That we are going to start calling for something else if we don't get houses? Newsflash, sport, I and probably many others who are advocates for the Lottery, know full well that we are unlikely to get houses. The odds are just too great against us. However, those odds exist for EVERYONE and all that many of us have been clamoring for, was a FAIR system. The Lottery is it. I have never said that it was going to make people happy. I seriously doubt other proponents of the Lottery, thought that it would make people happy. It is simply the only fair system that can be put in place when supply can not meet demand. The only way to make people happy who participate in the housing system is to have enough housing to meet demand and until SE fixes THAT problem, there will always be unhappy people with respect to housing.
