Support for FCFS housing in 6.1

I get seeing people not liking fcfs being a thing but there's something I really need to just put out there for clarification sake.

The moment a new patch comes out, like it or not it will get swamped cause it's a patch full of new content and such and alot of people like to be there right when it's out, even if a new ward becomes available, as in experience to shadowbringers updates and seeing them add some wards. So what confuses me is that people are very defiant on not wanting fcfs even though there's going to be a lottery system added in to most wards.

Why bother demanding no fcfs when you can just, get on later anyways to attempt the lottery system? If you make the excuse that it's going to effect login, you do know login will be effected REGARDLESS of housing or not when a new patch drops, especially as major as 6.1 is going to be? Just wanna throw that out, if people are going to make this excuse I just wanna quash it and make a good point to stop people from making said excuses.

You said it yourself, there is going to be login issues during patch release so having FCFS is going to cause undue stress to anyone who's trying to join in the rush to login and hoping not to get disconnected or stuck behind a long queue.

Also, as others have mentioned, lottery is simply a more equitable system of giving everyone at a fair chance at getting a shot at a house, especially given that they are a commodity in short supply.

Having FCFS means a minority of the playerbase gets to double dip which is just not a good look at all.

Equitable system? Maybe but I still think it doesn't solve it. FCFS or Lottery, given how VASTLY popular this game became? It's still going to have long queue issues and trouble logging in, I just don't see the point in complaining when it's not going to do anything and still be a problem if not even worse now.

As much as i don't mind either FCFS or Lottery, I'd rather prefer instance housing, and I also think people that want the first come first serve treatment should have their fair chance. Let them have their couple wards.

Although I disagree with your desire to commit even just a few wards to FCFS, I am in complete agreement with you on the desire for instanced housing. If the developers can not add more wards, perhaps a form of instanced housing would help address the issue of a shortage of housing.

I just dislike both options, fcfs or lottery, The housing system as it stands is very flawed, as fun as it was to have neighbors and such it's kinda smelly when those same neighbors don't really interact with you or do much with you most of the time, people would rather form housing among friends and or family and just overall having a good time, hence why I think instance housing is better.

I don't care for either FCFS or lottery and even if they DID allow some FCFS wards I still feel without a doubt in my mind it wouldn't change much, even with the lottery system people are going to crum up the login system, especially with how popular this game is now. It's gonna reach to a point that no matter how many wards they are gonna put in it's not gonna satisfy the growing popularity this game is creating, hence why I still think getting rid of FCFS is not gonna matter and adding a few wards ain't gonna hurt, I'm pretty sure this is going to be their largest amount of wards they are gonna add in since stormblood there's still gonna be aLOT of houses to have a chance on getting, and with island sanctuary on the way and being hopeful that MAY be the answer to instance housing with some fun things involving it, I understand your disagreement but it doesn't mean I'm wrong.
