Yup yup I know I know Dun Scaith is part of moogle event and you must actually try in there. Many are running this for first time neow but for the love of the twelve mitigate those bosses. When the big cast bar fills up and all the health goes bye bye that is the tank buster. Three runs of that place for alliance roulette with no mitigation tanks.. With so so many players seemingly doing this stuffs for the event and tanking booku damage healers have no ogcds to spare for zero mit tanks.

DS has often been difficult, but never to the extent that it has been in recent days. I was tanking the other day and I specifically pointed out the center tower on Diabolos Hollow as a place no one but a tank should stand. I counted about 8 people standing with me on the first one.

I’ve been running Dun Scaith a lot for memes like this. One of the runs my friends and I did a couple nights ago almost hit the hard enrage on Deathgaze Hollow (!), messed up the fire/water puddles on the second boss (!!), and wiped on Scathach after the add spawned 3 times (!!!) and people opted to try and zerg her (she was way too healthy when it spawned the second time—around 15-20%). After the add wandered around poking the DPS to death (none of the other tanks tried to grab it), Final Swing went off. I saved myself by shielding with everything I had, and healer LB3’d my alliance. I tried to keep the tank up with Adlo spam while my friend on SGE tried to raise as much as they could. But then things went downhill when I ran out of mana from the Raising/Adlo spam and our tank died. I tanked her for a bit until she tankbustered me into the void, and eventually the add spawned a third time and killed the leftover alliance members. We cleared the second time with no add memes. And Diabolos was actually quite smooth.

I wasn’t even mad, though. It felt like I was back in HW when the raid first came out. I had so much fun.


We had another run that was the opposite: every other boss was smooth, but Diabolos was a meme. The main tank went into the middle door, and then Diabolos had no tank and went around smacking people for a bit. Meteors blowing up, and people popping the orbs instead of just avoiding them. But again. Wasn’t even mad. I live for alliance raid memes.
