No.
The forum/Reddit/Twitter are not in any way representative of the player base as a whole. The sky is not falling.

I'd rather see them add more new people with fresh ideas than replace the current ones.
All things considered I'm pretty happy with the game, I don't love every decision they make now but I doubt I'd love every decision a new crew makes either so I see little sense in just replacing everyone.
I wouldnt mind seeing a new batch of people and seeing what the difference is.As of right now it seems a lot of player concerns havent been heard, and are being ignored.
Idk about Yoshida. He knows what he is doing, but in the last few LL he has seemed burned out and like he doesn't really know what's going on in the game anymore. As if someone else is taking the wheel behind the scenes already.
What they really need to do is find a new writer, because the ppl behind EW took a great narrative and turned the game into a bad anime and it was almost criminal. For the most part it felt like they adapted a piece of fanfic. As someone who has played this game since og launch, I can barely bring myself to even log in anymore between the poor literary direction and the sheer redundancy of everything. It was GoT all over again imo.
We need new ppl, with new ideas, who are given a fair shot at making those ideas a reality in both the upcoming stories and content. But they don't listen to us so no matter what we say, nothing will come of it. Posting on these forums is like screaming into the void.

The writer for EW also wrote ShB.
I think the game has done and continues to do just fine from a design perspective, at least for the most part. Is it perfect? No. Do I have my gripes? Of course I do. But they are consistently...them, which allows me to enjoy the game more often than not. I wouldn't be opposed to them taking some risks though! And I'd love to have some more side/open world content beyond what we have now. And actual housing everyone can access on a whim. (I swear to god if someone says "get an apartment..." I'm gonna scream lol)
Since you don't seem to be aware, Yoshi-P is well known for working himself hard and only getting 4 hours sleep. He's changed this recently, but on such little sleep and doing 66 interviews a day, his tired eyes were visible in live letters a lot.
In the media tour he did interviews all day and in one of them explained how he is constantly playing FFXIV, so it doesn't feel like work. The upcoming changes to jobs such as living dead changes, pvp and other quality of life changes in 6.1 reflect that they know a lot of what is going on in the game.
They may not have been able to satisfy everyone or do what you personally want but it's a jump to say "they don't know what's going on".
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

incaple no, they can do the job and everything however they need to stop dumbing down everything.. There is no fucking reason everything every job has to be dumbed down the point they lack idenity .. they have the skill to do much better as past stormblood jobs showed (stormblood had the perfect jobs outside of not giving bard back foe requirm tbh)Ive been lurking and interacting with the forum here for a good time. I know I havent been here a good majority of this game's history; or at least havent been in the forums long enough to gauge general feeback and topic trends but from the majority of people here I'm curious about something.
Do you guys feel like the current dev team is incapable to lead this game 6.1 and beyond because of the good amount of complaints between gameplay, story, and general content releases. Should we shuffle devs around or replace Yoshi-P? Are people overall happy with the state of this game?
Wanna know people's thoughts.
They also need to get over themselves and actually make jobs fun to play again the only good thing ive seen they have done to jobs since my stormblood era was finally after almost 9 years listen to summoner fans when we said we wanted real summoner in arr took them 9 years to listen.
edit:
also this bullshit ppl keep defending where they dont want the jobs to be "challanging" and the exuse being given if u want this or that go set up static on a time schedule with 7 other ppl is bs.. The jobs should be just as hard as the hardest fights in the game

Its not nearly as much as people here like to think it is.
At. All.
Its the usual General forums banter that goes on in all General forums.
I mean we're what, 6 years now and still no healer reworks for the constant concerns people have of healers feeling horribe, no one on the dev team even playing healers. I dont think its that much of a jump to say theres specific aspects that they dont know whats going on. Just like when they cut deep dungeon and they were surprised at all the backlash from it being cut. It was a surprise so they clearly didnt know lol.Since you don't seem to be aware, Yoshi-P is well known for working himself hard and only getting 4 hours sleep. I think yoshi p is just tired of this story arc tbh. They really rushed it and they themselves have basically said it was supposed to keep going for 1-2 more expansions. I think hes going onto new heights with 16.
