Not a fan of Lost Ark, but OP is not wrong. 14 could really do with some more content that requires engaging with the gameplay system put in place, rather than....what ever it is we have now. 14 is resting too hard on its laurels and have a defence force ready for any critique.

There is constructive criticism, which is fine - and then there is someone sadly wasting hours upon hours on typing away to strangers on a mostly ignored message board for a game they supposedly don't think is good - posting the same topics every 5 days with new titles but no new message. And they've done this for years of their sad life. Who is the real loser here?

I mean, I would not call it a 'negative wage' cause that's a matter of opinion and perspective. From your perspective and opinion there is not enough content to justify a sub, nor the money they have earned. Others may think that the amount they paid is perfectly acceptable or fine for the content they have, and that will differ from person to person. As for releasing more content, IDK about that. FF14 has a massive bend towards non-hard content (and non-endgame content like raids and ultimates), and so yes, they are a business, and they will appeal and make changes and additions to their main customer base that will generate them money, and with the amount of money they have made it's clearly working. Does it suck for some people, sure, but they are a business and a AAA company at the end and so will do what makes them popular and thus generates revenue.

The other thing to remember is Square Enix is a massive company. FF14 may make boatloads of money, but that is irrelevant if we don't know how much of that money is reinvested back into the FF14 development team, or how their budget compares to funds and amount of money Square devotes to the FF14 team (and being a corporate company I would imagine they would try and minimize as much as they could while maintaining just enough for it to make more money and profit) is compared to their actual revenue that segment generates. So it is kind of hard to bring in a monetary issue of 'they made a lot of money so they can do x and y' when we have no idea how much profit is reinvested into the game since Square is much bigger then just FF14 (even if FF14 makes them a lot money, that does not equate to an ever increasing or massive budget, and that's not how most companies look at things. More profit and revenue means more money for shareholders and investors, not more good for the customer).

I wouldn't mind more endgame content. It'd be nice, but at the same time it's a minor nice thing. I am more then satisfied with what's currently there and am perfectly fine with what I pay for what I get. I wouldn't complain if we got more, but I couldn't care either way cause it suits my wants and needs, and I feel it's worth what I pay as a sub for the game.

Correct. I have that person ignored and only saw this as ignore doesn’t block quotes. I do pity the person on a human level. People with full and happy lives don’t behave as the poster does and values their time more than spending years trying to instigate strangers on a gaming message board. They likely have very little going for themselves and use these forums to try to feel important or better than they do in their normal life. Not to mention mental health issues this person probably needs help with. I wish them the best as a person but otherwise I prefer not to interact with them.

I've made a grand total of 5 posts since I realized who that poster was and decided to put them on ignore. With my WPM that I type, maybe those took me about 5 minutes total?

Considering that he also tends to bump his own threads like last night, including ones that have died over a month ago, I'd say that's a pretty tiny amount of time spent on someone who goes out of their way to be a nuisance on the boards.
