You're right, SE is a small company with limited resources. Please understand, lol. I like this game a lot and it would be pretty sad to see it die just like WoW; a slow, painful death while everyone claps. You do equally realise that Quality of Life changes that the game has undergone require a considerable amount of planning and development resources too, right? Lol. Many of them actually making it considerably easier for people to get into the game without quitting immediately.
Way to misconstrue the argument. I just stated that QoL consumes a considerable amount of resources. Besides small indie company or multi-billion dollar company or not. Finding talent is not an easy a task as you'd like to believe, or anyone for that matter. But hey, I heard they were hiring and have even gone as far as to advertise this on their PLL, several times. So by all means apply.
Yes it would be. But the issues people take with the game as not homogenous. Many people here seem to have issue with the amount of content. By comparison I don't. I just take an issue with the replay value behind some of their more recently released content. But on the other hand, I've seen first-hand what this looks like under their current philosophy with Ishgard Restoration.. Hurrah for unreasonable grinds.
I think this game is a long shot from a slow and painful death. But that would be your own personal opinion, as it would be with mine. It's impossible to please everyone, equally, it's impossible to please people who digest content far quicker than what it can be developed. Finding a middle-ground between players that have the luxury of being able to play 6 hours daily, and those that can play weekends for perhaps 3-4 hours is difficult.

For French and German translators, specifically, yes.
Probably not going to make much of a difference, if any, in the content development of this game. And if it does, then there's something very wrong.
I'd say that the only reason it became unreasonable is because it was a time-gated competitive event. Note, however, that the replay value of Ishgard Restoration is now, for the most part, gone, now that the restoration is complete. But on the other hand, I've seen first-hand what this looks like under their current philosophy with Ishgard Restoration.. You're right, they revolve mostly around Final Fantasy VII.

jep Avangers was bad but it seems that Babylon's Fall Is Dead On Arrival and Flops Worse Than Marvel's Avengers, but well it what happens to many Live Service games lately maybe companies should look into that instead of keep making them .
The seas continue to rise while the lesser moon continues to fall, and ilm by ilm, the world becomes ever more unlike itself, without the illumination of knowledge, we but vainly flail as specters in the dark.
Deus Ex died for that Marvel trash

I had to laugh at Babylon's Fall. SE releases a new game...and no one showed up. It was their own fault though. That game wasn't promoted much of anywhere and there was next to nothing known about it. It seems like they knew it was destined to fail.
Game designers too, actually. Graphics engineers too, if my memory on the latter serves me correctly. But they're definitely hiring designers. Which is starkly different from translators. For French and German translators, specifically, yes.

As per the note on the restoration that did play a part in it but they were so wildly unattuned to the significant grind, time gated or not. This is pretty much evidenced by the simple fact this self-same feedback and mentality echoed through the Resplendent tools.

Square Enix is a moderately sized entertainment company with multiple divisions and annual budgets for each. It does not revolve solely around the Final Fantasy XIV franchise, and funds from every division are put to work where the company decides, not where the division Producers necessarily would like. From a budgetary standpoint, their online and mobile games make 2-3 times as much in revenue in any given year than the entire MMO division. Where would you, as a responsible corporate officer, put the funds for future growth?
I do so despise the flippant word salad that posters decide makes them points. "SE is a small company" earns zero points. It hasn't been an original point in almost a decade.
