For French and German translators, specifically, yes.
Probably not going to make much of a difference, if any, in the content development of this game. And if it does, then there's something very wrong.

Game designers too, actually. Graphics engineers too, if my memory on the latter serves me correctly. But they're definitely hiring designers. Which is starkly different from translators.

As per the note on the restoration that did play a part in it but they were so wildly unattuned to the significant grind, time gated or not. This is pretty much evidenced by the simple fact this self-same feedback and mentality echoed through the Resplendent tools.

I don't really think 2 weeks is a lot to ask, even tho, with the popularity of the game and new cash flows they could try to hire a little bit more to provide same schedules, not sure !

I had to laugh at Babylon's Fall. SE releases a new game...and no one showed up. It was their own fault though. That game wasn't promoted much of anywhere and there was next to nothing known about it. It seems like they knew it was destined to fail.

The unsub argument is ridiculous considering all the ways the game keeps you hooked: housing, tome caps, Savage loot gates, seasonal events, etc.

You would think they want to speed up content to keep player subs to pay for the new content to come. Not give them nothing to do for months and lose all those subs.

Because Yoshi P believes in playing more than just one game. Maybe you don't, personally I just stick to FFXIV, but sometimes a break can be good to avoid burn out. They also can't put out content faster due to how fast people consume the content.

I like to blame the old school mentality that one has to be glued to one MMO, treat it as a 2nd job and play it 24/7 to feel any validation for paying a subscription. The whole idea of paying a sub is to continue playing a game that will GET updated not that it spoon feeds you new activites all at once. Its ok to unsub and resub when content patches come in. Its ok to take breaks and play other games. Stop with this mentality that the game needs to give you new content asap. Its seriously unhealthy.

We're going to get more content, we literally just saw the road map. And if people seriously think that the whole 4 months per patch thing is the final nail on the coffin for this game to start losing subscribers...yeah sure Jan. There's always people who find other activities to do in this game. Just because you dont have anything to do doesnt speak for the entire community as whole.

Still have managed to find a reason to log on daily for almost 2 years now for reasons outside of just doing my daily/weekly tasks.

For example: Doing old content, achievement/title hunting, helping out people with their clears, trying to solo/duo fights, glamour farming, pvp binging, reputation grind for mounts, making friends, gpose, alt leveling...I can keep going on but it's really not hard to find something else to do to occupy you in the meantime. Otherwise, can unsub and do something else till new patches arrive.
