You tank a bigger group of mobs in the exact same way as a smaller one. How is one "uncomfortable and miserable experience" while the other is supposedly perfectly ok? Press your AoE button, press your cooldown. That's literally all there is to it.
Nowadays pulling aggro off of someone is easy, if they make the effort to bring the mob to the tank. I'm not chasing you down if you pull a mob and run off.
But "You pull it, you tank it." was definitely a lot more reasonable back in early days of ARR, when for example PLD only got Shield Oath at 40... So anything before Cutter's Cry you were already fighting an uphill battle for aggro and then when someone goes and pulls extra mid fight it wasn't THAT hard to go "That's your problem."
No i get the point. You've admitted you're not a good tank, and that's fine. There's lots of things in this game I'm not very good at. The problem is that you've shifted that blame onto literally everyone around you instead of internalizing it and either moving on with your day or getting better. Sitting in this thread and doing the textual equivalent of sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling "its everyone's fault but mine" is going to do nothing but make you look foolish. But maybe that's your goal. If so, congratulations.
