MEGATHREAD: Requested Hairstyles & Facial Hair

Yes~ but alot of the placement of bangs isn't great or could be designed better
Mostly I'd like to see bangs swooped to the side across the forehead like this instead of in ffxiv, the bangs are all bunched up in the front or split in the middle and it leaves alot to be desired
I know with limitations the hairs won't be as majestic as they are in lost ark but they can still look nice

The clipping is actually far worse in Lost Ark lol.
If the hair even reaches the neck it's basically going to be a clipping nightmare with a lot of gear xD.

At least FFXIV and Lost Ark ain't a horror show with female hair like most Western games.
I feel like in most Western games nowadays they just design some really REALLY basic hair for male characters then throw it unto the female characters.

I was surprised to see something so different as to what lost ark has available because I'm so used to really basic & boring hairstyles
I'm actually okay with clipping so long as the hair looks good- if the hair gets the point across & looks good I'm sold

The problem with clipping hair is not easy to fix. Either they implement physically correct hair. This would be the solution with the best results. But it would require a serious game engine upgrade and it would require way more processing power. Or they implement multiple versions of a hairstyle, which do not clip. The game engine would choose the correct hairstyle depending on the clothes of a player. This solution would be cheaper and propably not require game engine updates.

With many pieces, yeah, but I might as well use the very long ones if even some of the shorter lengths are going to clip.

There is already so much clipping in this game. It should be down to player choice. It is so odd to me when SE has certain selective instances of quality control, such as with viera and longer hairs. I already glamour around my character's hair, as I have been using this au ra hair for a very long time - pretty much the only au ra hair I use.

That is the hair my new Shadowhunter is using. She looks so good with it.

As someone who has played DCUO and PSO2(NGS), which involves plenty of hair clipping, I'm not that bothered with hair clipping unless it's to "Is this even rigged correctly" levels. Just give us the waist/calf-length hair options already and let us decide if we want to use them or not.

I'm in the same boat, too. PSO2:NGS just keeps taking up my time as well as a bit of burnout.

Just to keep this on topic, one of my disappointments with the Nier raid was that we never got A2's long hair (We got hair for 2B and 9S, why not her?) and given that it seems to be over (The current collab only seems to be one-sided and it's for the Nier game) it seems that it would never be sadly. We just need more long hairstyles in general.

That's true I never really thought about that.
Tbh tho I probably wouldn't use it due to clipping xD.
But she has a short hairstyle too would've been cool if we got both.

I have also expressed my love for A2's hairstyle and the fact how I hate that we didn't get it. If I had that hair, or any hairstyle in her likeness, I'd be more inclined to get more involved in this game. Butt no. More 2B. It really sucks man.
