the sad stat of new glams in 6.0

Sad state in 6.0? That's not my experience. Not even close. I've been able to take advantage of the 6.0 gear for every job I'm currently playing in EW, and even have some glamours on standby when future jobs/roles gets to the appropriate level:

My WAR is using the i580 axe unglamoured, and the AF pants (best WAR pants to date, easily)
My SCH is using the AF body and boots
My SAM is using AF legs, hands, and katana
My MNK was very recently using the AF body. My retainer brought me a i50 replica pair of pants I've never seen before that caused me to change all my MNK glamours lol
My DNC was in her full AF. YoRHa type 51 coat dyed gold decided otherwise. Still using the giant bow head piece, and might switch back to the boots once I can dye the stuff.

Palaka chest pieces and quite a bit of Imperial gear has made it into my glamour chest. Even some of the leveling gear is gorgeous. Particularly the lv86 sets, which can be a hit or miss; but the ones that hit knock it out of the park.

.... much gear was sacrificed to make room for the 6.0 stuff. Please offer a moment of silence

Just because you found few pieces out of the AF sets that you like, doesn't mean that there wasn't a severe lack of new options this expansion thus far. And to be fair, we get new AF every expansion so that isn't unexpected.

Yeah, but I also mentioned gear other than the AF sets, and I am quite certain players are using 6.0 gear I have not mentioned as well. You're saying it's been a downward trend when the release of unique gear has remained pretty consistent since SB. I would argue that just because you can't find something you like, doesn't mean there's a downward trend.

It would be awesome if the game had a glamour system that allowed for the kind of flux in gear releases that would keep player's beaks wet. It doesn't though. I would much rather the dev team address the storage capacity and glamour system before releasing even more sets into the game.
