The idea that FF13 had the best ANYTHING is a sad joke. But the best music? That goes to FF7 and it's not even close. That article is terrible, the writer's analysis of each game is sooo shallowly put together. It's as if the writer has no concept of what any of the games were about.

There is plenty of good to be said about FFXIV and there always was. It had the best graphics (may even still have) on the mmo market and it had a decent soundtrack. Gameplay wasn't ever as terrible as it was made out to be either it just wasn't finished. 1.21 was pretty good so here's hoping for a good 2.0

For nearly a decade their business model has been to simply go all in on graphics and abandon every other aspect of FF games. Then they use a bunch of cheap marketing tricks to milk people out of every dime they can. People complain 14 was incomplete, every final fantasy since square-enix merged has been incomplete. The spin offs / sequels / prequels are even worse.

I agree they are going down hill, but I have to say I really loved the FFIV stuff, the remake on DS was wonderful and the sequel, After Years was good. As much as I dont want to admit it..... FFVII: DoS and FFVII: CC where not that bad -.-

Not even close. The only thing XIII has going for it is modern sound production.

Gonna have to say 1,2,6 and 7 are my fav's but 1 & 2 in the vid are remastered, 6 was the best midi imho
