most people ignore reviews in general at this point

why read a review when you can get tons of info off of youtube and the games forums/site anyway from people actualy playing it, info that will be more accurate and less biased, and reviews that wont be paid for by the developers themselves to make them look good, info that will come from people actualy playing the game and not from some reviewer who has all his info gathered from people who quit the game

But Final Fantasy XIII-2 has the best music in the series and a fully loaded OST of about 82 tracks and not 1 is bad.

To be honest, XIII and XIII-2 does have some of the best battle music of the main series. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7RnDbJKYOs This got me more excited in a fight than any other FF game honestly.

Also, taking Kotaku seriously is like taking Sankaku for anime news and polls seriously.

Personally, I loved everything in FFVIII/FFX, but then again, VIII was my first owned game and the first FF game I ever played.

12 vanilla release was my least enjoyed FF next to 13.

The "international" (painfully ironic name) release is my second most enjoyed next to 9. That speed function helps the game by cutting grind time in half.

7 was great as was 8
9 and 10 were ok
10-2 was soso
12 was awesome
13 sucked.. no freedom .. 13-2 i still gotto buy and will comment on within a week or 2 lol

Not even close. The only thing XIII has going for it is modern sound production.
