Usually when a discussion devolves into personal jabs, insults or an overall uncivil discussion the mods come in to either clean a thread up and put it back or nuke it into oblivion. Guess we'll find out which soon.

I was just saying that our group wiped in the Alex raid where u put the boMbs on the scrap metal. And some dudes was like “this is why going from savage to normal sucks c:”. There was a few other sprouts in the raid so I’m assuming they meant that they’d rather be playing with savage level people .

Maybe they didn't mean it in a negative way towards you. Maybe they're just used to doing this mechanic differently in savage and going back to normal they forgot about it and thus wiped

This is a fair point but how many people are really running level 60 savage version of that fight nowadays ? I could see this logic in more current content ..

Not many people would be running them, but if they have prog'd the fight in the past for a significant amount of time then the chances are they would have a good recollection of the mechanics.

But if I were to be frank, it's probably leaning more towards the - People don't like dying so they make excuses vibe

Some of the level 60 savage content is the fastest way to get the light for the level 60 relics. Even when unsynced back in StB you would see some of the mechanics that are handled differently than in normal. So if they were used to doing that, it's likely the reason.

I know for a fact this happens to me going from Extreme Trials to Normal or Hard ones. Mechanics are different enough where after farming EX for so long going back to the "easier" version could honestly be harder. One of the biggest pains of this was Shiva EX back in the day where in normal you don't share the sword attack but in EX you do. So you see the attack go, "Gotta stack with the party" and then kill half the dps because it's not EX. Or just straight up expecting certain mechanics that don't appear.
