    The fact that the tower is still radiating that ominous red aura makes me feel like there's still something going on in there we'll need to concern ourselves with later.

    It being a physical construct as opposed to just an extension of Anima's being could mean simply destroying the primal wasn't enough for it to cease functioning entirely.

    considering the body was the focus point and that it was cut into pieces to power the towers all over, I suspect as long one piece of the body remains then there is always a risk of Anima returning or a new Primal of similar nature.

    WoL probably has to destroy the entire body just to prevent a Anima like being from being born again.
