    Seriously, the content is 2 expansions old and the biggest drawback is the forced level sync. It's not fun for older players to have to go in and have their job kits lowered to get glowing weapons.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    I posted this in another thread but even as someone who played through FFXI *before* they added trusts and made all sorts of player-friendly improvements, I cannot for the life of me stand Eureka in its present state and didn't last more than a half hour in its original form.

    It is not possible to solo your way through these zones-letting Blue Mage into Eureka would have been a tremendous improvement and would have even redeemed the job's limited status in my eyes but that opportunity came and went. Eureka zones are now often empty, with the presence of bunny farmers making it harder for people working on relics to run their fates.

    Abolish elemental exp, and make it so that fates spawn at the rate of Bozjan Southern Front fates without having to mindlessly kill mobs for hours on end. Failing that, let Blue Mages in, and stop pretending that using them to get Eureka weapons or progress through the zones would "invalidate" the alleged prestige of the worst-received relic content in the game's history.

    Feel like it would be too much. To some degree I feel like it's fairly nice to have some pace established for newer players as opposed to them being able to blitz through everything - Just helps to keep some form of expectation, really. If I were a newer player and I blitz through older relics utterly and entirely, then got hit by a wall with recent relics it'd probably tax me a little, versus if that expectation were set from the start. But then I suppose if I were to go for doing more, I'd probably just add more variety to how crystals are obtained, rather than how many. E.g. attach them to roulettes or the challenge log itself. - I don't really have much in the way of yield for Eureka as opposed to the variety behind them, and how much of a time wasting exercise it can be courtesy of cooldowns. - In this regard actually, Pagos is probably one of the best zones if we're talking about Eureka with respect to relics. - Zone sucks but during the cooldown periods I can just farm Syricta's for light.

    Haven't read all comments but:
    Make the mobs that you have to kill to spawn the fate also drop crystals, and increase the amount of crystals the fates give as well. Then I wouldnt mind it. I have two weapons left to do but it will take forever because there is basically noone there and I need penny to spawn and I cant make her spawn on my own so I have to rely on discord to shout when she is up....it is just so damn tedious. I think you could buy the flame with crystals which brings me back to my first wish.....

    My two-cents as someone who did Eureka from start to finish in SB and ShB, and I will probably do it again this expansion:

    I really don't feel that Eureka requires a nerf?

    I just went in there at the end of ShB to complete 2 new gear sets and 2 new weapons ( from start to finish ) with no issues. It was always active and there was lots of people doing the same. Unless there is a day where no one goes in there ( which I don't see happening for a long time because there is a lot of gil potential in there, even in the worst instance, pagos ).

    I'm guessing its slow right now because people are focused on other content. The best time for Eureka in my experience is in odd patches or content lulls in general.

    Then again maybe I'm just lucky on my data center because we still run BA a few times a day on the Aether Discord. Aether loves eureka, can't speak for other data centers.

    Still baffled you cannot exchange stuff for PW drops.

    Even if BLU can be in Eureka, I expect SE will just make monsters immune to pretty much everything desirable about the class (freeze, instant-death, pull...). Even so, I feel Eureka is worth to get BLU in to exploit the elemental weakness that BLU are bloated with. And the class would be a powerful undead killer too with Saint Beam.

    Same here. Eureka is populated enough on my DC with at least 30 people in an instance now. We still have regular BA runs as well through a discord community, as well as impromptu runs (but I'm also on a Japanese DC, so the culture is very different). In addition, I run Eureka nights with my FC weekly. It's a nice change of pace from other content in the game, and doing it as an FC helps people feel comfortable trying content they're not familiar with. The only things I would appreciate are more crystal drops from hydatos because it's a stingy zone overall, and more light from pagos, as well as mount speed increase. But those are definitely not necessary
