Not sure but EU laws require transparency.
Know of at least one case where someone got banned, they refused to tell them the reason for it, and when confronted with law they told them after the ban period was up. Withholding that information isn't permitted here.
Just like we're able to have a website expunge all information they have on us.
"I swear I didn't do this" should convince you
For now it's just a guess on every side, nobody knows what exactly got you this warning and be it recent dungeon or something from a year ago. My friend got reported over "emote spamming" in Eulmore 2 years ago, when we were just /splash'ing each other and gor a warning over that, there are all types of petty people out there.
Even if you're not in the EU, SE should still be bound by the CCPA and GDPR anyway so that same move theoretically would work. Not sure but EU laws require transparency.

Sounds an awful lot like Fear mongering.
Especially since it was just a warning that they got and they are super defensive about it.
Just dont be overly vulgar/perverted/hostile everywhere and you'll be fine.
If the story is to be believed, they didn't use the chat box whatsoever. But sure, it's always "just don't be a meanie" as though authorities are infallible.
DCed, turned tank stance off by accident, got HOUNDED by the party. Thats at least how i read it.
I mean i get screamed at and i do mention it too if people forget tankstance. They/I turn it on and literally go "oops i forgot" if they had it on at the start in a dungeon that doesnt sync them down levels. They/me also go "oops i forgot" if the dungeon DOES sync them down, also auto turn stance off.
And then everybody laughs because yeah, stupid that it does that, haha. And moves on.
So if the party really was THAT hostile towards them, then the party will also get a warning because guess what? If they were the, excuse the language, assholes, then they were wrong.
If they were just quietly sitting there, getting mobbed to hell and back for tank stance or whatever it was, then the party did the warnable thing.
GMS can see what was going on and yes, you should know WHAT it was (i agree that they should tell you) but i doubt you get the warning if you just sit quietly there in an "abusive" party and then leave said "abusive" party.
The one thing I will agree with the OP on, and it’s been a huge problem for a long time is that if you’re going to get hit with an infraction you have the right to know what it is you did wrong. You can’t keep from repeating a mistake if you’re not informed what the mistake is in the first place
Welcome to the “nicest” community btw LOL. In all honesty, just start reporting people back out of spite. I do and it’s worked wonders when someone drops a little F-bomb in Gridania on /sayyou’re right “can’t beat ‘em join em”.
I honestly sympathize with you. This honestly sucks and it makes it worse that GMs won't talk about what exactly happened to make you get this warning on your account. Hopefully it gets appealed soon, best of luck to you!
The person who doesn't have a main class or character.
