    His point is that you seem to think the gear is the end, while it's just a means to an end. Gear means nothing in this game. It hasn't since gordias killed the raiding scene by requiring the gear to clear the tier, which basically prevented all but the hardcore from clearing within the tiers relevancy. Now gear is just a soft wall, the incredibly skilled raiders can clear without gear, while those of lesser skill (like my group) gear up to clear.

    You are simply the wrong target for this game outside the first month of a tiers release.


    It's not a game centered on gear and difficult raids. It has a breadth of content.


    I play this game way too much, and I still have not enough time to do everything I want in it. I still have loads of content I haven't completed.
